Taurie was born outside of Glasgow with her older brother, Ewan. On the outside, her family appears to be normal, but they're actually part of a cult called the Disciples of the Black Talon, a sub section of the greater Black Vale cult that worships a being only known as The Entity. Taurie herself is a devoted cult member who was effectively born into their teachings. Even now in The Entity's realm where she's actively doing everything in her power to become a killer for The Entity's trials rather than remain a survivor (4 survivors against 1 killer horror hide and seek where the Entity siphons emotion from everyone involved) In short, she really wants to serve The Entity directly rather than be a regular sacrifice
