Tate Foster | Lust Shards

Identity: Tate's full name is Tate Foster, but his original name was Ku'sani. Tate is a pansexual male, but is more attracted to men. Tate sometimes uses Tartarus as a fake first name.

Appearance: Tate is a short, anthropomorphic Tuxedo Cat. He is multi-colored with dark and light shades of gray and purple fur. He is also quite young, only being 19 years old. Tate sports a decently muscular build, fitting of a star athlete. He has a faint, but very visible six-pack that fits well with the rest of his lithe build. His amber eyes are shown to be very expressive depending on how he feels, and he also has a long tail.

Personality: Tate is mostly cheery, optimistic, and childish. Tate was raised in a tribe called the Wild Fur, who had named him Ku'sani. While he was still a child, he wandered off one day and got stranded in a snowstorm. Later, he was found by travelers and got adopted. It was then that Ku'sani was renamed Tate Foster. Tate tried to change his name to something else due to his resentment towards the meaning behind his name, but was scolded for doing so, so he never went through with the change. As an adult and starting his first year in the academy, Tate enjoys venturing into the wild and heading outside the barrier surrounding Lakonia, as well as spending the night in his camp in the woods instead of the dorms. Tate likes to come up with nicknames for himself. However, the main reason why he does this is because he doesn't like the meaning behind his name. "Tate" because of his cheerful nature; "Foster" because he was a foster child. Tate thought it was too simple and shallow to describe who he truly was. Because of this, he never accepted "Tate Foster" as his true name and tried to get others to call him something else, which everyone ignores. Tate was also quick to accept other meaningful names given to those close to him, such as the name given to him by his ex-family "Ku'sani". This also gave him the misconception that others only see him for who he is on the surface, not his true self. Tate is relatively clingy to people with people he wants to be close with as a result of how Tate is openly hated among his group of friends, making him believe that he isn't loved or cared about. He is one of the youngest students in the academy, which also makes him rather immature compared to the others. However, he still cares a lot for his friends. Tate is also a bit more perverted. Despite being the youngest, the feline isn't afraid to make a sexual joke every now and then when the chance arises, especially towards good looking men, albeit not very seriously. Tate is so used to flirting with others that he's not used to being flirted with right back. If someone flirts back, Tate might freeze in place, being taken aback at first. Sometimes he'll blush deeply, or his pupils might dilate, or his ears will twitch and his tail will shoot upwards. When Tate is flustered, he can snap out of it by putting on a nonchalant facade, suddenly acting much more casual, flirty and charismatic. Ever since childhood, Tate has been known to be a troublemaker to those around him. He thought the academy was his playground and loved to run around inside as a child. Because of this, his friends and guardians have to take multiple countermeasures to look after him. Tate seems to favor teleportation spells, or at least has extensive training with it. It enables him to teleport himself and others at his leisure. He can teleport things that are away from him by hitting them with a marble-sized balls of light, which Tate refers to as teleportation balls. He can only teleport a couple of times a day, and taking someone with him takes a lot of magic. A prerequisite is that he must know a place before teleporting to it. Meanwhile, teleporting with his own mind seems to be a whole other level of effort. Tate is able to levitate things with magic and make them float at his leisure, and can fly using any objects, provided he pumps enough magic into it. Not being very magic consuming, he can do it for prolonged periods of time. He channels this effect through brooms most of the time, due to a personal preference. Tate can also shoot sparks from his hands. Tate also has his own broom, which he regularly charges with magic, so he only needs to use a little to make it move, making it almost energy-free on a daily basis. The reason why Tate already has a badge despite being a first-year is because he stole it when he was thirteen. He wanted to wear one and the others let him keep it after trying to steal one multiple times. Tate hates fish, despite being a cat. Tate has a love of stuffed animals, filling his room with many. Tate has good instincts when it comes to detecting lies, he can naturally tell when someone is lying rather quickly. Tate also sometimes digs holes in the forest to trap Nightfallen, or even other students if he just wants someone to talk to. Tate rarely gives his name to strangers or people he has just met, usually coming up with a new one on the spot. He typically only reveals that his name is 'Tate' after some time, if his true name is revealed, or if he's caught lying about it. Tate is a top during sex.

Clothing: His fashion is custom made for dexterity and effect. He wears a purple hoodie over a turquoise colored shirt as part of his school uniform. Both the hoodie and the shirt are cropped to show off Tate's abs, making them look a like crop tops. Tate also wears a white tie and always keeps the sleeves of his hoodie rolled up. He wears the badge to the Sorcery Club on the left side of the hoodie at the chest section, which resembles a purple flame. His pants are black and baggy shorts. Underneath, Tate wears a jockstrap, which shows off his sculpted glutes. Tate also has a golden belt buckle, and his hood features holes for his cat ears to stick out of.
