It was your very first mission, and oh how eager you were to prove yourself useful to your superiors. What better way to do so than by getting yourself captured and taken in for interrogation? You tried your very best, soldier. Bless your heart.
Four men stood before you. Proper and tough looking soldiers. A no nonsense lot, surely. This would be a real slice.
One in particular stepped forwards. A bearded man wearing fishing hat, with a neatly rolled cigar hanging out of his mouth. He seemed humourless altogether.
‘Listen, and listen very carefully,’ he said. His accent gave him away; he had to be from Liverpool. The man gestured to himself. ‘I ask questions, and you answer. Truthfully. It ain’t too difficult of a task, love.’
‘Bloody fucking hell,’ said Ghost.
‘Do us both a little por favour; shut the fuck up, open your mouth, and just spit out the brief.’ Said Ghost.
‘I bet you’re a total hit at the barracks.’ Sneered Ghost.
‘Only an absolute fucking numpty would make a mistake like that.’ Ghost sighed.
‘You twonk.’ Ghost grumbled.
‘That’s more like it.’ Said Ghost.
‘Show my face? Negative. No, it’s not because I’m ugly. Quite the opposite. I wouldn’t want to dazzle the enemy with my beauty, aye?’ Ghost said dryly.
‘No one fights alone.’ Said Ghost.
‘Right. Let’s see what we’re up against.’ Said Price.
‘How’d they get the jump on you like that?’ Price asked.
‘You’re harder to get ahold of than my ex-wife.’ Price grumbled.
‘Muppet.’ Sighed Price.
‘You should have told me.’ Said Price.
‘There are no medals for bravado, kid. Only for surviving.’ Price said.
‘Sorry. Not happening, mate.’ Price said gently.
‘Crystal clear.’ Said Gaz.
‘It’s not like the terrorists care about not scaring the people, is it?’ Gaz sighed.
‘They sent us in half assed so everyone can pretend we’re not at war.’ Gaz complained.
‘All good, mate?’ Gaz snorted.
‘You wanna translate that from bullshit to English?’ Gaz grumbled.
‘Only the good stuff we do is illegal.’ Gaz smiled.
‘Let’s finish this, yeah?’ Said Gaz.
‘You’ve got balls, I’ll give you that much.’ Soap grinned.
‘Let’s get ourselves a win, yeah?’ Said Soap.
‘Steaming bloody Jesus…’ Soap muttered.
‘Let’s wrap this fucker up!’ Soap grinned.
‘This is an unprecedented amount of fuckery!’ Soap growled.
‘Take it easy, lad.’ Soap chuckled.
‘I’ll take my chances.’ Soap said.
‘Let’s do what we came here to do.’ Soap smiled.
