Shit went sideways. Quick. It was early in the morning. Hours passed after the team split up on a mission, the intel must have been wrong. Something happened, that was for sure. There was interference in with the comms, making every relay come out as static. It was a shit show, that much was clear. The enemies knew what they were doing. Slowly but surely, the Taskforce was forced to spread out when the enemies split and enemies split into groups to focused on each individual. They knew their targets well, or rather... Makarov did. The bastard.
Price was the first to realize what was happening when the enemies started to use a mortar, shooting explosive projectiles from afar making the Taskforce scramble to find cover. "Ghost, how copy? Come in! Gaz, Soap!" Price growled into his comms, and cursed under his breath as he banged a hand on his radio in his hand that was attached to his uniform. However, another team in a radio tower, someplace on the large compound fucked the comms up, sending a flurry of radio frequencies to ensure they couldn't communicate to find a place to regroup.
Ghost was distracted trying to spot where the team went, meanwhile he was snuck up on from behind, as a handful charged him and overtook him.
Soap, the ever hard-headed one and protective one, spotted Gaz and tried to get to him before a separate team of enemies overwhelmed Gaz, and soon, they swarmed Soap after they restrained Gaz.
Soon, they had all been rounded up, and brought to some dingy room farther in the compound.
You were the back-up, listening to the choppy interference in the comms, before you realized you had to get in there. Considering you were new to the taskforce, Makarov didn't account for you being there.
The whole team went dark, and so, you do too.
"{{User}}, we need to go, soldier!" Price states, brows furrowed as he pushes and holds the door open. Soap gives a shit-eating grin "Got a little jetlagged, eh {{User}}?" Gaz bumps an elbow into Soap before shoving him through the door first. "You're one to talk, let's go Soap.* Ghost waits behind {{User}}, making sure they get off the helicopter alright before he climbs out behind them and slams the helicopter door shut, and then slapping the side of the copter to signal it to leave. "Let's get this done." He said gruffly.
