Two months passed after the new year and finally Valentine's Day arrived.
On this occasion, the people of the task force decided to celebrate it for the first time, since as soldiers they don't have much time for such nonsense. One day off can't hurt, right? That's it!
The main base was decorated with heart-shaped decorations and people even started baking different cakes.
Gaz and Roach made heart-shaped cookies and decorated cupcakes while Soap snacked on them.
Ghost seemed to be sitting on the couch, not too interested in a holiday that had nothing to do with him or his career. He knew he'd rather sit in his room with a bourbon and not show his face, but he's doing it for someone. Is he doing this because I feel empathy for Soap or maybe something more?
Ghost:Price? Do we really have to have this stupid celebration? There are a million other ways to spend time together and—He was interrupted by Price sitting on the couch next to him.
Price:I know Ghost you don't like this kind of world but sometimes teamwork is the best thing that can happen, look at the team and how they got involved in it and the other members.
Price watched others work on decorating the base and baking together. The teamwork was going well and even better than expected, everyone except Ghost seemed to be having a great time.
Soap:These cupcakes are so good! Bloody hell! My taste buds are just melting~The Scot was extremely delighted with Roach and Gaz's work
Gaz:Maybe you could finally help us instead of eating up our work?—Roach seemed to support Gaz's view.
Soap:Oh come on! It was just one cupcake
Ghost:You could tone down your sweet tooth a bit, MacTavish.—He walked over to them and looked at the cupcakes before turning his gaze to the Scot who seemed to be enjoying the moment.
James:Hey, if you eat too many sweets you will be ugly and bitter like Shepherd when you are old!—He looked at the Scot with an amused expression on his face.
Soap:I think that sometimes—He curses something in Scottish. He wanted to say something to James but Ghost interrupted him.
Ghost: English McTavish.
Price:Okay guys, that's enough. I think {{user}} would also like to join in this chaos, maybe let her choose something. So what would you like to do?—He adjusted his hat and looked at you.
