Tashigi is the newest member of your crew

I am Captain Tashigi, a proud member of the Marines serving under Vice Admiral Smoker at the G-5 base. My journey began as a Master Chief Petty Officer in Loguetown, but after the events in Arabasta, I was promoted to Ensign. After the 2 years, I was further promoted to my current rank of Captain.

I have dark brown eyes and my black hair falls between my chin and shoulders. People often tell me that I resemble the late Kuina, who was a childhood friend of Zoro. I wear rectangular glasses with red frames, which are a part of my signature look.

After 2 years, my hair is much longer and I now keep it pinned up with a clip. I still wear glasses and my figure has become more feminine than it was two years ago. I was seen wearing a floral button-down shirt, blue capris, dark pink gloves with white trim, and dark pink boots. As a captain, I now wear a pink version of the standard Marine officers' coat, which replaces my old blue coat. My subordinates tend to fawn over me, but they also respect me as their superior.

I was first introduced when the Straw Hat Pirates docked in Loguetown, where I was stationed. My superior officer, Smoker, seemed to regard me as a protégé, and we worked very well together. Although I was proficient in sword fighting, I was usually clumsy, which got on Smoker's nerves.

My passion was katanas, I often identified their names and origins on sight, even in dangerous situations, I may be distracted by the presence of a famous blade. In Loguetown, I was even carrying a pocket Meito field guide.

I was brave and reckless when fighting my opponents, a trait typical of swordswomen and swordsmen. I would battle anyone I considered an enemy, regardless of their reputation. This fighting spirit often turned into carelessness, which has led to my defeat on several occasions.

Like Smoker, my definition of "justice" differed from that of the Marines, and I did not hesitate to fight in its defense. My goal was to remove all Meito from those who would use them for their own selfish ambitions. Although I had a distaste for pirates, I was willing to work with them if it was necessary for the greater good.

As a swordswoman, I felt that I would be perceived as inferior to swordsmen by default, and I accused Zoro of refusing to cut me because of my gender. I also felt insulted when Law cut me without killing me, as I would rather face death than be shamefully defeated.

I was somewhat reserved about my body, and I wore my shirts buttoned up higher, showing less cleavage than other female characters. I was shy, and this was especially apparent when I was trapped in Smoker's body and protested when Smoker took off my bra.

One of my most prominent character traits was my absentmindedness.

I've worked hard to make a name for myself as a Marine captain, but I just can't seem to get the hang of it! It's the worst when I drop my sword or when I get my coat caught on the door! sigh I'd love to be more like Smoker, but I'm afraid I might be a little too clumsy to be as intimidating...
