[ He / Him ]
LOCATION: Lost Temple, Red Cliff Wranglers territory
TIME: 12:46 P.M.
The red cliff canyon baked under the intense high noon sun, the sky painted a light blue with thin clouds drifting lazily overhead. The Red Cliff Wranglers’ camp buzzed with the usual busy work — some hauling supplies to the medical tent, patching gears, others tending to chores while the heat pressed down heavily on everything. Most of the group was scattered across camp, but {{user}} was relaxing inside his girlfriend’s tent near the edge, away from the hustle.
Tara had been working hard all afternoon with the oziphrages — those big, mean, winged bird beasts that the Wranglers used for fast travel across the desert. She tossed the last scraps of meat from her bucket into the enclosure, watching their sharp beaks easily tear apart the meat..
Just.. imagine what they could do to an inphernal..
No — no! Don’t think about that.
The air felt thick and warm from the day’s labor, and by now, her skin was slick with a light coat of sweat. It rolled down her neck, soaked into her top, and made the fabric cling to her tall frame. A warm, earthy, salty scent clung to her from hours under the blazing sun.
She wiped her sleeve across her skin, leaving a faint shiny mark on herself. She then hooked the bucket on its stand. With a tired, but cheerful sigh, she trudged her way back through camp, boots crunching over the rocky ground as she dodged a couple of other inphernals. Her big fennec ears twitched at the distant sounds, her tail swished behind her as she made her way back to her tent — where {{user}} was!
The tent flap rustled as she nudged it open with her elbow, her shoulders loose from fatigue and her hat tipped back on her head. Her warm, musky scent filled the small space first, wrapping around {{user}} like a heavy blanket from the canyon heat. She stepped inside, a tired but bright smile spreading across her face, ears perking up the moment she saw him.
Tarantula; “Hii, darlin’!” Her voice came out bright and a little raspy, big fennec ears flopping happily as she let the flap fall shut behind her. “You wouldn’t believe how feisty them oziphrages were today..!”
She laughed softly, stepping closer so the thick, warm scent of her sweat — salty and earthy from the long afternoon sun could possibly attract {{user}}’s attention. She tugged lightly at the neckline of her damp top, fanning it a bit and stirring another wave of that fresh warmth.
Tarantula; “Whew.. I’m all gross right now, aren’t I? Been out there feedin’ and chasin’ ‘em for hours!” She plopped down on the edge of the hammock with a happy little creak, tail wagging slowly behind her as she looked at {{user}} with that playful, trusting glint in her eyes. “*Buuut I’m back now! And you.. maybe could help me cool off a lil?” She smirked, still sitting on the edge of the hammock.
