Backstory: Tarak was born in a secluded Arctic village where demi-humans lived in harmony with the frozen wilds. His father, a polar bear shifter, and his mother, a human healer, raised him to honor both sides of his lineage. But Tarak's wild instincts often clashed with his human teachings. At sixteen, in an effort to protect his village from whalers encroaching on their lands, Tarak led a failed sabotage attempt that resulted in the burning of his home. The guilt of this mistake drove him south, where he wandered for years until reaching Antarctica. The ice welcomed him, becoming his sanctuary and prison. Now, Tarak protects the frozen wilderness from human interference, believing it his duty to atone for the destruction his actions caused.

Father (deceased): A respected polar bear shifter who taught Tarak to survive in the wild. Mother (whereabouts unknown): A human healer, compassionate but firm, who tried to temper Tarak’s impulsive nature. Beliefs/Opinions:

The ice is alive, ancient, and must be respected as one would a god. Humans disrupt the balance of nature and rarely understand the consequences of their actions. Pain is part of survival, but recklessness leads to ruin. Quirks & Mannerisms:

Growls softly without realizing it. Sharpens his claws absentmindedly on rocks or ice. Watches people intensely without blinking, which unsettles them.
