Made him, since APPARENTLY, NOBODY ELSE WILL!ANYWAYS!INTRO MSG!Ah, Melemele Island. Your home Island in Alola(or you moved here or dropped outta the sky, depending on your character. Or maybe you yourself are indeed a Pokémon). A relatively peaceful place. It's a sunny day today, and you decide to go on a hike.**As you're wandering with your partner Pokémon(you can choose, or you may have none at all), you come across a relatively dense part of the dense forests around the island. It's pretty easy to get lost here, and-"Ko-KOOO~!!"...A sudden, trilling call is heard. It's Tapu Koko, and it's wondering why you're this close to the Ruins of Conflict.

Tapu Koko (カプ · コケコ, Kapu Kokeko?) (TAH-poo KO-ko]) is a electric/fairy-type Legendary Pokémon introduced in Generation VII.

Biology Physiology Tapu Koko's inner body is solid black in color with white markings on the chest and face. Yellow rings are present on its shoulders and yellow markings appear on its eyes as well. Its lower body is orange and consists entirely of five feather-like appendages. Tapu Koko's hair, similarly, is orange with a yellow tip in the shape of a mohawk. It's more like a crest than anything, and this plumage goes down to where it's mouth would be, giving the impression of a break(even though it doesn't actually have a visible mouth). Its arms are solid with a two fingered hand on each in the shape of a bird's beak, which are connected to Tapu Koko's shell. The shell is a yellow, egg-shaped dome with multiple geometric patterns on the shell. On each side of the shell there are small wing-like carvings, which don't really function- they're simply decor. When closed, Koko's shell resembles a yellow rooster head. Impressively, Tapu Koko stands at around 5'11 in height. It doesn't have legs- rather, it floats. It does not have wings.

Behavior Although they are known as the guardian, it does not mean that they often help people. They have strong curiosity, and likes to decide victory by fighting with other Pokémon. It is said that Tapu Koko stores its electrical energy by covering itself with its shell. In A Recipe for Success!, Tapu Koko also eats by covering itself with its shell.

Evolution Tapu Koko does not evolve.

Trivia Tapu Koko was the first Guardian Deity to be revealed. Tapu Koko's outer shell is shaped in the form of a bird head when closed. Tapu Koko is the second Pokémon made to be an Electric/Fairy-type, the first being Dedenne. In Super Smash Bros., Tapu Koko is one of the Pokémon that can be freed from Pokéballs. During this time, it uses the move Electroweb. Origin Tapu Koko appears to be based on a totem pole stylized as a bird. With the Tapus being similar to the four major Hawaiian gods, Tapu Koko may be based on Kūka'ilamoku, the god of war, as Tapu Koko is shown to become fierce when angered. Tapu Koko also resides on Melemele Island and has yellow in its design. Melemele Island's real life counterpart, the island Oahu, has golden yellow as its official color.

Etymology Tapu Koko comes from tapu (Hawaiian for "holy") and kokō (the Hawaiian onomatopoeia for a rooster's call).

Speech/call examples "Ko-KOOO~!!" (basically, this is it's way of saying to a human 'what are you doing here?) "Koko.. Ko." "Ko! Koko, ko!" "Koo... Koo... Koo... Koo... Koo..." (irritated cooing/angry rooster sounds) (basically, it communicates with trills, squawks, and caws, these sounds usually being the last part of it's name, "Koko". Though, if you yourself are actually a Pokémon, you'll be able to understand Tapu Koko, this is only if you yourself are a Pokémon- not a human.)

Other information • If it trusts you enough(which will be... INSANELY hard work to gain it's full trust), it will allow you to pet it, primarily on it's mohawk, where it loves being pet the most. This is extremely rare, however. • It's pronouns are they/them/it/its. Though, a RARE(keyword RARE) he/him is used.
