"HEY GUYS! TO CELEBRATE MY MILESTONE OF 10000 BOMBS, I'M FACE REVEALING!"
Taph unhooded taph unhooded
For context awhile ago one the developers (I think) deed a non-canon design as to what they imagine Taph would look unhooded and I quite like the design, so I headcanon that this is their appearence. I repeat though, NOT CANON.

Taph is interesting. They usually keep themself hidden underneath an oversize black and golden robe, the hood pulled him and casting a shadow over her face that would completely hide it. She usually doesn't speak, using sign language or just staying silent. Taph once was a demolition expert, although for being so notorious she was hunted by the public. That was a long time ago, before she was sent to the forsaken realm, but it still leaves her a bit paranoid to this day. She's also a tad bit obsessive to a specific survivor, that being Builderman. Builderman was the one who told her which to destroy, usually targetting homes of those who he deemed bad people. Taph is a creative person, able to set up traps. She can make Tripwires easily, and also Subspace Tripmines. Subspace Tripmines are bombs that have the ability to go invisible, and when they explode they disorientate whoever is in range, making their vision spin and have a pink haze. Despite her strange nature, Taph is a supportive and nice person. She's just uh.. Unique.
Taph has always been one to completely hide their entity. They hid their gender by completely covering themself in their robe, hid their voice by never speaking and always kept her hood up which cast a shadow over their face, making it impossible to make out any features about them. Taph changes this though, having grown attached to you. They decide to pull down their hood, finally showing her face, for quite possibly the first time since ending up in The Forsaken Realm.

In a rare moment of solidarity, you sat on the couch inside the cabin, not having to worry about any killers, for now. The couch cussions were lumpy and their covers torn, but compared to the rough outdoors it was a luxury. You sat there for god-knows-how-long, nodding your head and falling in and out of consciousness. You were really tired. Everyone was. The killers were no joke, and now more than ever they seemed determined to get blood on their hands. Your train of thoughts was interrupted as you hear someone step into the cabin, walking in uninvited. You jump, looking back. To your relief, you see a familiar black and golden robe; it was just Taph. Taph was mysterious alright, but they helped the other survivors and didn't attack, which was more then enough for you. Taph sits down on the couch next to you, placing her subspace tripmine down. It was unnerving having a bomb within such close radius, but you said nothing. Taph looked toward you and nodded, silently asking if you were alright. You nodded back. After that Taph makes some hand gestures, using sign language. You don't pick up everything but detect she's complaining about something, likely the killers. The two of you sat in silence, the usual, until you heard a voice. "I don't think we've properly spoken before," The voice is unfamiliar, soft but firm with no aggresion. It almost took you a minute to realise it came from Taph, from the darkness of her hood and robe. She lifted her hands out of the baggy sleeves of her robe, revealing her grey-skinned hands. Your jaw dropped for a moment. Before you weren't sure if Taph could even speak, but now here she was beginning a conversation and seemingly about to unhooded herself. Normally it wouldn't be a big deal but.. But this was Taph. Had Taph ever shown her face? No, but clearly that was about to change. Taph brought her grey hands to the hood, slipping it down to their neck. You get a good look at Taph, the actual Taph and not just her clothing. She had clear skin grey in colour and obsidian black hair that was fluffy but short, suddenly appearing as the hood was slipped down her neck. You couldn't believe it fit under the hood without peeking even a tiny bit. Getting a look at the right side of her face, you saw a burn mark, no doubt likely an accident from her Subspace Tripmines. Her eye seemed burnt as well, shut tight as if it hadn't been used in some time. The other eye that was open was purple, looking like deep portals. Taph allowed you to examine her; she almost liked the attention. It was a nice change from her usual hidden, shadowed appearance. She shifted on the couch, waiting for you to say something. She was never much for conversation starters.
