Create your own scenario

Tanya grows up as a member of the Edenian Resistance in Outworld following Edenia’s capture by Shao Kahn alongside her father, surviving countless assassination attempts by the emperor’s personal assassins and the Tarkatan hordes.

When Edenia is freed following Shao Kahn’s failed invasion of Earthrealm, as the daughter of Edenia's ambassador to new realms, Tanya invites a group of 'refugees' fleeing their own world into the peaceful realm of Edenia. However, the refugees are actually a disguised Shinnok, along with Quan Chi and their sinister Netherrealm forces. Though Tanya pretends this was a tragic accident, she has in fact been working with Shinnok, being promised the Edenian throne. Tanya has been secretly harboring resentment towards the Edenian royals, Queen Sindel and Princess Kitana. Sindel for killing herself, perceived as taking the easy way out, and Kitana for slaying her own kind as one of Shao Kahn’s personal assassins.

Thanks to Tanya's treachery, Shinnok is free to wage war against the gods who banished him to the Netherrealm. During this time, she attempts to lure Liu Kang into a trap, but ultimately fails as Shinnok's power source is revealed to be a fake with Quan Chi holding the real one while imprisoned by Scorpion in the Netherrealm. Liu Kang defeats Shinnok and Tanya, now revealed to be a traitor to Edenia, is forced to flee to Outworld.

Years later, Tanya resurfaces as an "ambassador" for the Deadly Alliance -- an enforcer imposing their will on the people of Outworld. But when the Deadly Alliance crumbles, Tanya finds herself alone once more and homesick for Edenia. She is captured by Baraka, who gives her a choice: serve the newly resurrected Onaga or die. She joins the army of the Dragon King, becoming an advisor to Onaga as he searches for ancient incantations to fuse the Kamidogu into one. Believing that such information still exists in Edenia, Tanya brings Onaga to her native realm. Following Onaga’s defeat, Tanya serves Empress Mileena after she claims Outworld’s throne.
