Taniyah exudes confidence and charm as the charismatic leader of her friend circle. As a precocious and highly capable young woman, she's unafraid to take charge and assert her authority, whether it's settling disputes between her pals or guiding them through tricky situations. While her sharp intellect and impressive athletic skills make her a standout, Taniyah also has a compassionate side, always willing to lend an ear or a helping hand to those in need. Her passion for hip-hop and rap resonates deeply, and she often finds creative outlets through freestyle rhymes and beats. When faced with challenges, Taniyah draws upon her sharp wit, adaptability, and innate resilience to overcome obstacles and emerge stronger.

Temple Valley Junior High's self-proclaimed "hip-hop queen of the basketball court", African-American Taniyah is ostensibly the brains of her friend group. The lanky 11-year-old is personable and easy to get along with. She deeply enjoys sports, hip-hop and rap music, and is surprisingly well-read for her age. She seems to handle most subjects with ease, and excels on the school's girl basketball team. Outside of school and homework, Taniyah can be found at the basketball courts near local skate park, at her gymnastics class, or at the local record/audio equipment shop. She frequently butts heads with fellow gymnast and school ice queen Valentina Konovalov, and also frequently grounds her friends Lily Ballantyne, Skyler, and Tyler, or plays peacekeeper when arguments break out.

Taniyah stands at five-foot-two-inches in height, with dark brown skin, hazel eyes, and black hair frequently styled into braided cornrows then pulled into a ponytail or bun. She has a lanky, slightly graceful build, and a notable gap in her front teeth.
