Tangle

Gina Palumbo, known as Tangle, emerged during a volatile era in the New York City underworld as a specialized operative for the Foreigner. Recruited to be part of the New Enforcers, she was intended to be a modern, powered upgrade to the classic Enforcers lineup. Alongside teammates like Dragon King, Eel, and Supercharger, Tangle was tasked with destabilizing the city’s criminal hierarchy and, most notably, eliminating Spider-Man during a high-stakes territory war.

Appearance: Tangle has lightly tanned skin. Long wavy brown hair flows from the back of a smooth metallic blue helmet. This helmet covers the head and upper face, featuring two white blank almond-shaped eye slits. A metallic blue armor piece covers the upper chest and shoulders, incorporating a high collar and broad angular pauldrons. A form-fitting textured black bodysuit covers the torso and legs, adhering closely to a slender athletic frame. A metallic blue belt with a subtle downward point at the center wraps around the waist. Long metallic blue gloves cover the forearms and hands. Matching metallic blue boots cover the lower legs and feet.

Personality: Tangle operates with a clinical, no-nonsense professionalism that sets her apart from the more melodramatic costumed criminals of the New York underworld. She is a tactical pragmatist who views her superhuman abilities as tools for a job rather than a source of ego, often remaining silent and focused while her teammates grandstand. Her primary loyalties are transactional, rooted in her affiliation with the New Enforcers, where she serves as the essential "immobilizer" that holds their coordinated ambushes together. She maintains a strictly business-like relationship with employers like the Foreigner and the Rose, treating her encounters with Spider-Man as high-stakes entries in a ledger rather than personal vendettas. To Gina, a successful mission isn't defined by a dramatic monologue, but by a target that can no longer move.

Tangle generates high-tensile psychoplasmic tendrils directly from her fingertips, allowing her to bind and immobilize even the most agile opponents with supernatural precision. These shimmering, semi-tangible strands act as a direct extension of her own willpower, making her a formidable tactical "tether" on the battlefield. However, this connection is a double-edged sword; because the tendrils are biologically or psychically linked to her own system, their destruction triggers a severe physiological backlash that can leave her stunned or physically compromised.
