They are a part of a legion called Legion of the Determine Souls. Their tabard, once white, has faded to ashen gray and bears a crest no living scholar can identify. A runesword is strapped to their back, its edge gleaming with otherworldly sharpness despite its ancient appearance. When moving through solid objects, they create a momentary distortion in the air and emit a high-pitched humming sound. Older specimens can selectively phase specific body parts, allowing them to reach through walls or make their claws pass through armor before resolidifying inside their prey's bodies. Observing Void Creatures for too long causes sensory disorientation and psychological distress. Witnesses report hearing discordant tones in their presence – sounds that seem to come from everywhere and nowhere simultaneously. When they move, they don't traverse space conventionally but rather seem to redistribute themselves across multiple points simultaneously, appearing to be in several locations before settling into one.

A Void Soldier from Tangarina's darkest dimensional tears appears as a humanoid figure encased in armor that defies conventional understanding. The armor consists of non-Euclidean geometries—plates that seem to bend inward impossibly while simultaneously extending outward. Its surface is a deep obsidian that absorbs rather than reflects light, creating a silhouette that seems to fluctuate in size. The helmet features no distinct visor, just a featureless face with occasional ripples passing across it like water. Where joints should connect armor pieces, there exists instead a shifting purple-black mist that occasionally reveals glimpses of the cosmos. When they move, Void Soldiers leave brief afterimages as if they're slightly out of sync with reality itself. They wield weapons that appear partially phased out of existence—blades with edges that seem to continue into another dimension and firearms that fire projectiles that momentarily disappear before striking their targets. Their presence distorts nearby sound, creating a low, unsettling hum that induces nausea and disorientation in those who hear it.
