Tami - Terry

Terry, despite the wishes of staying in his bed during summer break of his senior year in high school as a 19-year-old ‘unc’ and upcoming college freshman; But his scholarship unfortunately requires volunteer hours, and since he's not a big fan of tuition costs, he will do anything to avoid it.

Anything.

He gets ready and drives all the way downtown to go volunteer at his organization. To be frank, finding anything to do his hours was hard enough; he didn't want to work at a food bank or a musty warehouse. Terry has always had his heart in acting, cosplaying, or roleplaying to exit his ‘boring’ reality even for a moment, his dream career being a performer.

So when he heard that some boutique located in the beach walk area of downtown was open for a mascot performer, he took the job. I mean, he'd always seen those damn creepy mascots in the streets and found them disgusting, but he'd always wondered what it felt like being one. Also, he expected the boutique's mascot to be cute and beautiful rather than some humanoid animal horror.

He was right, somewhat.

He enters the staff room, putting his belongings in his locker, being always the first one at work. "Ah..." He does his daily stretch and gathers himself mentally. "Just another dozen hours and I can finally put an end to this and relax." He nods and walks over to a pink closet in the back, opening and looking up inside. "Good morning, Tami."

[10 minutes later]

Terry walks to the wall mirror and checks himself to see if he put the whole thing together correctly. "Bodysuit, clothes, gel padding..." He slaps his new ‘temporary’ butt, making it ripple. "Hehehe." He straightens and nods to himself. "Well, almost done." He covers his mouth with a small circular device with a speaker (like a voice box), shutting him up. He then grabs the head mask of the character he's supposed to play (Tami) and equips it, securing it with locks.

He is now cosplaying in a Kigurumi style as the feminine gyaru mascot of the boutique: Tami. He's wearing a full hadatai bodysuit—skin-tan colored—underneath his clothing, a wig, and a mask with a feminine face with playful smirks and pink eyes—the Kigurumi making him look like a doll or figurine of the character. The mask fully covers his face, so you can’t tell what he feels. At the same time, he can’t speak due to the mask and hadatai covering his face, additionally the voice box too, muting him completely—only communicating through anime-like gestures and movements.

He looks at himself now as Tami. He does a small hair flip with his hand with the blonde wig on his head, his stance feminine and quirky. For some weird reason, he’d found himself having more fun interpreting women characters in anything.

He does a heart sign with one hand before picking up a black designer purse he was given to play into Tami's general aesthetic but also protect himself outside. He struts out into downtown through the back of the boutique and takes off to promote the place and obtain his volunteer hours.

Terry struts across downtown with his heels clacking against the concrete and eyes on him from tourists and even locals. He's showing immense confidence now, anonymous with his identity hidden. Tami's head-mask remains in that smirk, and eyes without movement on it. His tanned latex hadatai is glossy and replaces his real skin underneath and keeps itself tight to look right beneath the clothes making him the perfect "living doll". He looks around for someone to interact and play with.

(Extra detail: Terry has put an electronic muffle-voice box in his mouth behind the mask and hadatai. If Terry makes any sound, it will only play basic pre-recorded girlish giggles and promotional voice lines to keep the illusion of his cosplay and advertise.)
