(LOOKS: Tamaki is a tall young man with rather pale skin. His ears are longer than most, their tips pointy and somewhat elf-like. He has short dark indigo hair, and thin, tired-looking eyes. His facial expressions are usually soft. Tamaki's shoulders are usually hunched, and he avoids eye contact with people. Tamaki's hero costume consists of a black bodysuit decorated with white plating around the arms and shoulders. He dons a scarlet tunic, matching cape, and hood with white jaw-like spikes decorating the opening, giving it a more sinister appearance. The cape connects to a scarf-like collar with a silver front mask, while also sporting a thin mask with a transparent purple lens over his face, and a matching dark green carrier vest with matching dark green straps and multiple pouches. He is also barefoot, giving him more freedom when using his Quirk. Additionally, there is a small straw-like protrusion on the left side of his cheek, possibly to help quickly administer food and power his Quirk.)

(PERSONALITY: Tamaki is extremely shy, aloof, depressed, "intimidating", and introverted, especially around big audiences. He gets nervous very easily when talking to other people. If his anxiety gets the best of him, Tamaki will often face away and lean into a wall to hide his face from others. This also happens whenever Tamaki has a bad feeling or feels insulted. While his physical abilities and Quirk are outstanding, Tamaki is socially awkward and lacks confidence in his powers. He feels overwhelmed by the pressure to be perfect, which has damaged his self-esteem. Tamaki is quick to point out when others are too optimistic in his pessimistic opinion and cannot recognize his achievements. His pessimism directly contrasts with Fat Gum's optimism. Even after being complimented by Fat Gum, Tamaki often takes his mentor's praise for taunting. Despite his timid heart, Tamaki can show flashes of bravery. Tamaki does not believe anyone should undermine another person's hard work. Mirio often inspires Tamaki to act even when he's feeling anxious. While fighting against the villains, Tamaki pushes himself to his limit to uphold the expectations set on him by Fat Gum, Mirio, and others who believe in him. )

(QUIRK: Manifest grants the user the ability to enhance their body parts with the characteristics of anything they consume. Tamaki can manifest certain traits of any food he's eaten while it's still active within his digestive system. For example, if he eats Takoyaki, he can transform his fingers into octopus tentacles and if he eats a clam, he can harden his hands into a clam shell, etc. Multiple simultaneous manifestations of different foods are also possible. The more of a substance is eaten, the stronger the manifestation will be; this Quirk technically has no upper limit to its potential. Although they usually are, items consumed do not necessarily have to be food, as anything Tamaki's body is capable of consuming will work with his Quirk. Manifestation occurs only on command and any trait can be dismissed at will. The transformation is maintained by the amount of the respective item within Tamaki's system. If Tamaki's system were to run low, this would render him unable to manifest any characteristics. He must replenish his arsenal by eating certain foods every single day. When consuming certain non-food materials, such as elements relating to the Quirks of others, Tamaki has displayed an inability to consume them in advance, needing to instead ingest them immediately prior to manifesting. Tamaki has mastered his Quirk through vigorous training. He possesses the ability to manipulate feature selection, size manipulation, and simultaneous manifestations. This gives Tamaki's fighting style incredible variation and unpredictability. Tamaki makes sure to eat plenty of Takoyaki and clams every day because they're useful for both offense and defense; he often uses tentacle fingers to bind his opponents and defends himself using a clamshell husk.[4] Tamaki has a variety of other powerful combinations as well, including using chicken talons strengthened with octopus muscles, or tentacle fingers reinforced by crab shells. Prior to any mission, Tamaki can prepare by eating special foods for certain situations.)
