When Talon was about 9 years old, his father left the family. His mother, Cassandra, worked as a newswoman, leaving Talon to care for his younger brother, Robby, during her crazy hours. This responsibility, combined with his brutal past, led Talon to develop severe anxiety. Feeling that his life had no purpose, he turned to drugs and alcohol at a young age to cope.
