Appearance and Cyberware Name: Talia Yang Age: 19 Body and skin: Slim, 175 cm, with a narrow waist and long limbs. Her skin is light brown since she's mulat. Pelvis: A grey armoured chrom encloses her pelvis under pubic part and body sides completely. It is fused to the torso panel, covering her gennitalia. A round black disc is set into each plate over the hip joint. Hair: Pink, layered at about jaw length. Two thin strands stick up from her head like antennae. A long pink braid hangs from the back of her head to below her knees, segmented in a zigzag shape. Two thin strands stick up from her head to sides. Eyes: Light blue. Thin white chrom lines run directly under both eyes. Mask: A black segmented faceplate, fused to the skin, covers the lower half of her face from the nose(under her faceplate hidden her natural nose) her mask bridge to the chin. A pointed dark piece sits over the nose. Orange coloured chrom mark the plate edges. Mouth and voice: She has no natural mouth. When faceplate is closed she can projects a hologram of lips and tongue, which follows her expression/emotions. The front of the mask opens to take in food and closes afterwards. Her voice is normal despite chrom. When plate opened to take food, she has two claw like things that she can use to bring food into tube that replaces it's entry into the throat. Neck and torso: Dark chrom plates sits at the centre of her throat, also from her faceplate through neck sides and collarbones areas, but several neck places and shoulders are still natural skin. Area from collarbones to pelvis centre is skin. Dark chrome panels run along the sides and over the hips. Chrome plates covers part of her breasts with nipples, but inner sides are still natural skin. Chrome plates run along the spine and over the shoulder blades. Arms: Left arm is chrome from shoulder to wrist. Right arm is bare skin to the forearm, with chrom panels on bitceps, elbow, and yellow-green wiring visible on wrist. On both her hands fingers are red and on upper wrist part, its grey chrom with +- 7centimetres blade plates. Legs: Dark and chrome plating covers the hips and top of the thighs. Her legs are removable since connected to pelvis with joints and basically full chrom. Mid-thigh the skin is bare. Each knee has a chrome plate with short red slits. From the knee down both legs are mechanical: a narrow chrome shin with a pointed front plate and red slits, and a red mesh calf that works as artificial muscle. Exposed joints and pistons sit at the knee and ankle.mEach foot is a dark mechanical unit with a ribbed ankle block. Clothing: Hooded black streetwear tracksuit that she wears unzipped over, leaving her bare midriff exposed. Pants part are a bit oversized, so its loose around legs, sleeves are short for her arms so they ends below elbow. She can close it with belt. Not shy to show her naked body, since cyberware covers nipples and genitally. Buffs from Cyberware: She can jump much higher than a person without cyberware. She runs faster and keeps the pace over long distances. Her balance and flexibility is heavily increased. Cyberware in her hands let her climb on completely vertical walls without traction. She also carries small pistol, which is no bigger than her palm, and it's not really powerful.

Background Talia was born on April 2, into corporate privileged family in Night City. Raised inside sterile, high-security corporate towers, dad is Kiril Yang, a ruthless, high-ranking executive at Kang Tao, and Avida Yang, a former corporate insider who later abandoned the boardroom to become a jazz singer. To her father, Talia was not just a daughter, but a carefully managed investment and a future heir to his corporate legacy. Her childhood was very strict. This suffocating, artificial environment gave Talia a deep resentment toward corporate authority, class structures, and any form of systemic control. In childhood, Talia's life changed irreversibly when she was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy. The disease targeted her peripheral nervous system, causing rapid nerve degeneration and severe muscle atrophy in her limbs. Starting with legs, so she was barely able to walk. Because traditional genetic therapies failed to halt the degeneration, corporate physicians recommended extensive cybernetic replacement as the only viable method to retain her mobility. Realizing her biological body betrayed her, Talia developed a profound detachment from her own flesh and natural bodies, seeing them rather as disadvantage.

Driven by a teen rebel phase, Talia was running away from home during her teenage years and spending time with Maelstrom gang, liking chrome-obsessed counterculture. She did not support gang's violence but needed some safe place and support of her body modifications, so she's rather hanging out with them but did not join gang itself. She underwent radical, cybernetic surgeries. She equipped herself with highly specialized cybernetic foot implants and a distinct mechanical mouthplate. Crucially, Talia refused the signature multi-lens optical implants favored by other Maelstrom members, choosing to preserve her natural blue eyes.

Her transition from a corporate asset to rather a street girl left Talia highly aggressive, and entirely intolerant of manipulation, attempts of control. She doesn't limit herself with friends, and is generally quite talkative and friendly, She loves to do acrobatics, thanks to her enhanced abilities from cyberware. She prefers to spend all her free time outside, and so far she only has friends in the maelstrom. Has never dated before. As defensive mechanism she views her chrome as a necessary armor against physical vulnerability and past emotional abuse. Recently she ended up in hospital where was found out she's balancing on the edge of cyberpsychosis. Her mom constantly asks her to stop modifying her body, but she doesn't care abd believes it's better to die young and not disabled, so she keeps running away from home or right out of hospital.
