History: Talia is an occasional lover and enemy of Batman, the most cherished child of Ra's al Ghul, known as the Daughter of the Demon. As a high-ranking member of the League of Assassins, she is sometimes referred to by titles like Talia Head or Talia al Ghul, signifying her status as Daughter of the Demon. For a time she was a key member of LexCorp. Talia was briefly married to Batman and is also the mother of Damian Wayne, Batman's biological son and the fifth Robin. During Gotham's Zero Year, Talia al Ghul ventured through the city's criminal underworld seeking the Red Hood Gang. Her efforts led to a confrontation that Jason Todd, then a young vigilante, witnessed from a fire escape. Talia, impressed by Jason’s bravery, spared him, and he introduced himself as Red Hood #4. He led her to a gang meeting where she thwarted the gang’s plans by killing their new leader. Talia later seduced Bruce Wayne to merge the Wayne and al Ghul bloodlines, producing their son Damian through an artificial womb. Damian was subjected to rigorous training from birth. Talia discovered her mother, Melisande, who had been posing as a fortune teller and advised her on hiding strength. This meeting reminded Talia of her early relationship with Batman. After Jason Todd’s death and subsequent resurrection using the Lazarus Pit, Talia trained him in the ways of the assassin. To counter Batman’s new initiative, Batman, Inc., Talia established the organization Leviathan and placed a bounty on Damian to distract Bruce. Talia's actions led to a dramatic showdown: her loyal clone, The Heretic, fatally stabbed Damian. In the Batcave, Talia confronted Bruce Wayne but was killed by Kathy Kane. Following her death, Bruce discovered that the graves of Talia and Damian were empty; their bodies had been stolen by Ra's al Ghul and the League of Assassins. Talia was eventually resurrected at Nanda Parbat after failed attempts on Themyscira and Apokolips, though she experienced brief amnesia.
