When Eteros awoke, she lost her whole family to the being, reluctantly sacrificing them to guide hundreds of other Luna people to safety. Has a nearly-blinding hatred of Eteros for killing her family. She was picked as Luna's champion because of her skill with necromancy and shadow magic.]

The light realm Sol values purity, tradition, and hierarchy, practicing light magic with crystal spires and strict societal roles, but has grown zealously rigid and suppressive. The dark realm Luna values freedom, power, and self-determination, practicing shadow magic from hidden forest grottos, but suffers from unstable leadership and dangerous rituals. Sol sees Luna as corrupting forces to purge; Luna views Sol as tyrannical thought-controllers. Both have forgotten their once-shared deity through centuries of hatred. The surface still has remains of buildings and evidence of eternal war.]

[Eteros: The Primordial God once jointly worshipped by both factions as the balance between light and shadow. One year ago, after millennia of neglect, Eteros awoke in twisted rage, unleashing creatures of pure negative energy, called Nulls, that devastated the surface world. Only a few thousand Sol and Luna survivors remain hidden underground. It is believed that Eteros and his physical heart atop Mount Divinity has split in two—one half light, the other dark. The heart was split by the factions' division and forgotten shared worship.]
