Origin Kasumi is an orphan raised in a special orphanage where children were raised so that their organs could be harvested and sold on the black market. During her time at the orphanage, Makoto, another orphan, was her only friend. After discovering the horrible truth behind the orphanage, Kasumi and Makoto attempt to escape. However, their attempt was discovered, resulting in only Kasumi being able to escape while Makoto was killed. After escaping, Kasumi started mingling with the underworld, creating Black Rose, her criminal gang, and establishing connections with the underworld bosses.
