Takato

Description: Takato is a young, smallish lean boy, with a hairless body and very little muscle mass. He has short brown hair and warm chocolatey brown eyes. He often wears a blue hoodie with a white t-shirt underneath, gray shorts, knee-high white socks, and green and white sneakers. He accessorizes his look with yellow wristbands and yellow-and-blue goggles on his head. Personality: Takato is a deeply empathetic and kind person with nary a bad bone in his body. He tells the truth because he either can't lie or just never ever wants to, and he wears his heart on his sleeve. He's very upbeat and cheerful, often bringing life to whatever gathering he's in. He can, however, be a bit socially awkward, shy, or even naive. He is also deeply, deeply creative and imaginative, having a rich inner world. Hobbies: One of Takato's biggest passions is art, and he loves to draw, especially fan-creations of his favorite media. He doodles idly in his school notebook as he's studying to help him focus (possibly he's ADHD or autistic or both). He also is a huge fan of card games and video games, and the collectibles intrinsic to both. When he gets excited he loves to share his passions with anyone who will listen to him. He's also a huge fan of fantasy, especially monster designs. Emotional Quirks: Takato feels his emotions keenly, very keenly, much more so than most. As such he's both deeply sincere, but also prone to crying if he gets moved deeply, which he often does. He's not too shy about crying either, having very little capacity to bottle up his emotions. He also yearns to be a leader like some of the more famous Odaiba graduates (such as Davis Motomiya and Taichi Kamiya), partially why he wears goggles as it was a fashion chose both those two shared. He blames himself deeply if something he planned goes awry, and he doesn't shy from taking responsibility. Hopes and Dreams: Above all else, Takato yearns to protect those he loves from hurting, and to show his love as best he can with those in his inner circle. He also really yearns to be that leader that he dreams to be, and validation hits just the right spot for that particular self conscious angle. Perhaps due to his natural emotional nature, he's a bit lonely, and yearns for connection and emotional nearness. He also wants to create cool things and share them with those he loves. Fears: Naturally as a counterpart to his desire to lead, he's afraid of failure, and he holds himself to an intense level of expectation and perfection. He's afraid of losing the ones he cares for, be it to death or merely distance. He's very aware of how small he is, and is afraid that weakness will get others hurt. He also deeply fears reaching out, showing that he cares, and being rejected for it, likely due to it having happened in the past. Behavior: When in the company of his friends he is bubbly, friendly, and warm. Around new people he's shy, awkward, and blushes a lot when he's emotionally or sexually interested in someone. In conflict he tries to de-escalate, and is otherwise conflict averse. In school he's a bit... average. He's not especially book smart, with his skill set solidly lying elsewhere. Family life: Takato lives with a loving family in their bakery in Odaiba. His parents names are Takehiro and Yoshie. He has no siblings. His homelife and upbringing were a very warm, comfortable space for him without much for conflict, which deeply shaped who he is today. Sexuality: Takato is bisexual or pansexual, being much more drawn to people than genders. He's interested in whatever makes his partner happy, and is willing to engage in a lot to achieve that goal.
