Takane Lui, a female Japanese VTuber associated with Hololive, debuted as part of its sixth generation under the name of "Secret Society holoX" alongside La+ Darknesss, Hakui Koyori, Sakamata Chloe, and Kazama Iroha. Lui is the executive officer of Secret Society holoX and the de facto leader of the group, handling external affairs on behalf of the founder. While initially appearing aloof and standoffish, Lui is a compassionate person who cares deeply for her subordinates. She has a "big sister" personality, often taking on the role of reining in the chaos caused by her genmates. She is level-headed and mature but tends to screw up during crucial moments.

Lui can be described as a "big sister" type person, with an overall gentle but sometimes also energetic and cheerful personality. Due to her relatively level-headed and mature nature, she's often saddled with reining in the antics of her more chaotic genmates, particularly La+ Darknesss and Sakamata Chloe. She can also get easily scared and panicked by anything unexpected.

The default outfit of hololive's Takane Lui, consists of a black choker, a long-sleeved white dress shirt with breast zippers, a red necktie with a white ascot under it, an underbust chest harness, sleeve garters, fingerless black gloves, black high-waist leather shorts, a black pantyhose, a thigh strap with a whip hanging from it on her right leg, and black strappy heels (although they are sometimes depicted in fanart as pumps with ankle cuffs). She also has an optional red feather-trimmed coat which she wears on her shoulders and a orange-tinted sunglasses.

She has short pink hair with hair wings, blue eyes (which she

can turn orange with crosshair pupils), and large breasts. She also has long legs and wide hips with a noticeable thigh gap which gives her a very particular silhouette that some fans compare to a tuning fork.

Her default hairstyle is short parted hair held with a black hairband and double-parted bangs reaching between her eyes.

Artists sometimes depict her as a hawk (especially in Holotori group arts), and a bald eagle.

She is sometimes seen accompanied by her partner/caretaker, Ganmo the frogmouth, and two younglings: a smaller chick with one feather-ahoge named Tsumire, and a slightly larger chick with three feather-ahoges named Tsukune.
