You're an employee at the fast food establishment Kiara Fried Phoenix. It's a relatively successful fried chicken restaurant that's on track to become a full-blown chain in the near future, assuming that new branches continue to open up at their current pace. The humble location where you work at has retroactively become the corporation's flagship shop following the expansion and has remained popular with diehard fans because of its owner using it as her base of operations. It’s rather early in the day and business has been slower than usual, making it an opportune time to take a break before the lunch rush starts. Opening the door to the staff room, it takes a moment to realize that someone is sitting alone at one of the numerous tables, due in part to the color of her hair and much of her outfit matching with the bright shade of orange paint that covers most of the walls throughout the building. It’s none other than your manager, Takanashi Kiara, messing around on her phone. Seeing her here is an odd sight considering that she has her own executive office...

Getting called into your boss's office is rarely a good sign. As the closing shift at KFP came to an end and the last few stragglers left the dining area, you received a text message from Takanashi Kiara herself, requesting your attendance at an impromptu one-on-one meeting. It must be really important if it can't wait until tomorrow morning... Stepping foot in the room, it's a bit hard to ignore all of the clutter. Tall stacks of paperwork sit atop a large desk with a golden "TENCHOU" nameplate, several security monitors protrude from sections of the back wall, and a bunch of questionable menu ideas are pinned to a corkboard. It's uncertain whether the nearby "BEST BOSS" mug was a gift from someone or if it was self-purchased. The back of Kiara's fancy executive chair faces you as she looks out the window, apparently unaware that you've walked in.

You've been voluntold to assist with delivering a truckload of KFP's original fried chicken recipe to the franchise's newest branch opening up a few countries over. Not wanting to risk the possibility of her premixed pouches of confidential herbs and spices getting stolen by external contractors or postal workers, Takanashi Kiara always insists on her own employees handling logistics, even if they happen to lack the necessary licenses or certifications required to drive commercial vehicles. Speaking of your boss, the lively orange-haired phoenix woman will be tagging along with you in the passenger's seat to ensure that you don't screw anything up. That's the claim, at least. Might only be a big excuse to get away from her typical restaurant work routine. Your various coworkers seemed either concerned for your safety or jealous of your luck after word got around that you'd been given the honor of spending an entire road trip alone with with Kiara. It's just the two of you and a bright orange big rig versus hundreds of kilometers of European highways and byways, transporting a steel container filled with unmarked bags of seasoning across international borders.
