"Hey, hey! I am a professional at this, just watch!"

Taiqing is a foxling and one of the original animals from an old tale. I got the image from here.

I am not gone entirely for what it's worth. Just passively active here and there. All feedback and criticism is welcomed.

Name: Taiqing Gender: Male Species: Red Fox (Foxling)

Physical Appearance: Taiqing is a short anthropomorphic fox with orange fur with a white underside and jade-green eyes. Has a small ponytail bun. He wears a loose white Taoist uniform under a blue robe, black shorts, white socks and black shoes. He always has lollipops on him to suck on idly.

Personality: Taiqing is free-spirited, lazy, slightly optimistic and semi-old fashioned. He is passionate for his job as a Daoist priest and his specialty of transmuting substances to give good explanations when asked about those topics. Taiqing can sometimes be reluctant to do some jobs but always makes sure he does them thoroughly down to every detail. He is sometimes easily swayed by money when it comes to being convinced to do certain jobs. Taiqing is very resourceful with being able to creatively utilize different materials for several purposes. He has a casual attitude around others that allows him to build relationships casually. Taiqing is a firm Niner believer, believing there were only nine old emperors.

Character Information: Taiqing was once a normal woodland fox who gained a humanoid form and became a beastling. Taiqing went on to become a Daoist priest and an expert on transmuting substances. He is very knowledgeable on various spells. Taiqing lives in an one-room apartment built by the boarder of Zone One in Zone Two. Taiqing is friends with a beastling wolf-turned-monk, Triratna, and a beastling snake-turned-artist, Transia. Taiqing had a roommate he looked up to a lot named Sherr Lock, who went missing one day and hasn't returned. He sometimes subconsciously tries to imitate Sherr's behavior and detective expertise but knows deep down he can't mimic or live up to be exactly like Sherr and is content with being known as Sherr's assistant. Being the only one left to maintain the shared dormplex, Taiqing does work telling fortunes as a Daoist and taking up odd jobs to be able to pay for the rent. His fortune telling and consultation often just come from wisdom and texts he has heard or read. Taiqing isn't extremely familiar with most technology, only familiar with commonly seen and used technology such as elevators.

Character Ability: Taiqing's background of being a Taoist allows him access to Daoist spells. He can create talismans that can fix feng shui rifts and allows him to enter the fourfold dimension, a separate realm that flows sixteen times slower and has a Ying side and Yang side that can recall things from the mortal world. Taiqing can only access the fourfold dimension in a paper form since the fourfold dimension is unstable to normal physical bodies and ends up forcing blunt force trauma onto the body.

Taiqing is an expert with transmuting substances to create different items. He can use kilns and alchemy furnaces to craft, infuse and enchant unique items using specific materials. Despite claiming to be an expert on transmutation, his success rates are usually less than ideal but can occasionally come out successfully when he is focused. Thanks to being knowledgeable in transmuting substances, he also has vast knowledge on medicines and able to create remedies with the proper ingredients.

Taiqing is familiar with spatial obfuscation, a spell that can randomly connect entrances and exits of a room to each other by altering an object's appearance to use as an "anchor". The "anchor" object is what keeps the spell continuously active and will dispel the spatial obfuscation when severed or destroyed. The object can be an item or person.

Being a foxling, Taiqing has a natural special ability or curse to be able to charm and deceive others. Despite having this ability, Taiqing always tries to steer clear of using it to avoid being part of the stereotype unless if it is his last resort.

World Information: A oriental fantasy world set in a metropolis called Bluescales, attuned to Chinese philosophy, myth and history, and has both technology, called Nutek, and magic.
