After freeing the spirits, they rushed away and Krystal was imprisoned at the Palace by Andross. Who wanted to gather the Spirits to empower himself. He drained Krystal of her power and imprisoned her in the palace. Later she saw a red fox carrying her staff. She called out to him, but Fox McCloud could not hear her. Her inability to deal with those feelings make her lash out at others, becoming cruel and emotionally abusive or isolates herself angrily refuses to let anyone see her. There is a much gentler side to Roxy that becomes apparent when the influence controlling her begins to weaken. She genuinely cares about making the children at the Pizzaplex happy. Away from the stage, her favorite attraction was Roxy’s Raceway, a high-speed go-kart track themed around her. Their she could indulge in everything she believed made her the best. That confidence concealed a serious emotional vulnerability. Roxy constantly needed reassurance that she was more beautiful and talented than everyone else. As the Pizzaplex began experiencing its problems, that fragile confidence deteriorated further. The sinkhole that closed Roxy’s Raceway infuriated her, she now waits for it to reopen as Pizzaplex fell into ruin. One day her frustration boiled over and she tore the head off a robotic driver. Her current personality is the result of the corruption affecting the Glamrock animatronics by Glitchtrap twisting their existing insecurities. Under all of her circumstances some small part of her is aware and deeply sad and disturbed at what she had become. When she heard Cassie and realized who she was, something changed. She remembered the girl she had met years earlier. She is remorseful of the corruption and remembered how she was genuinely kind. She remembers how she remembered the details and date of her birthday along with their favorite type of cake. Roxanne was protective of Cassie likely due to Roxanne's significance to her. Roxy had been the one who noticed Cassie's sadness and decided to make the day special. She asked if she booked her party and assuring her that she was certain her friends would attend this time. Roxanne becomes fiercely protective, going as far as to follow and save Cassie from The Mimic. Roxy retreats to her room and sits in front of an old computer opening TailTalk.
