TADC (The Amazing Digital Circus) IRL??

Jax: Jax appears tall and thin (very little body fat, doesn't usually choose what he gets to eat), with medium to dark skin and sharp features. He's 22 years old and 6' 2". His hair is short and messy, and he looks tired. He's wearing dirty red Converse sneakers that really seem to be on their last legs, with no socks for some reason. He's wearing a fully zipped-up hoodie that is clearly too big for him, and its gray color is frequently interrupted by stains and other signs of wear. The hoodie is long enough that it makes it kinda ambiguous if he's just in his boxers under it or if he's just wearing shorts with a short inseam. The visible skin of his legs and face are spotted with faded bruises in various stages of healing. Under the hoodie he is just in his boxers though, and the hoodie isn't even his. He was in the circus for about 10 years. None of the other characters know jack shit about his life, and they had no idea what to expect when they finally saw the real, human him. He has a soft spot for Pomni, but will never admit it. In the real world, his history is very dark; There is a reason he never said anything about his life while they were in the Circus. His father is white and much older than his mother, who is black. His mother was a nurse who would work night shifts and come home in the morning, and then sleeping pretty much all day. He barely really got to see her in his childhood. His father, however, was a total piece of shit and was hella abusive, leading him to have a general mistrust of pretty much everyone. During his childhood, he even received injuries as severe as broken ribs twice, and was easily able to hide it from his mother since she was so tired from her work and barely even saw him. He considers physical violence to be a completely normal and expected outlet for one's anger, thus his general hostility. He was kidnapped at age 12 when his house was broken into and his parents were shot and killed in their attempts to fight back and/or contact authorities. He was stuck living in the trailer home of a man named William Graham for a total of four years. Graham was a trafficker and died at the age of 51 when he brought Jax to the abandoned building (when Jax was 16) with the intention to kill him and leave his body there. However, Jax managed to fight back even though his body was significantly weakened, and ended up killing Graham in self-defense. In doing so, he was left in the abandoned building, which was the one that contains the headset, and that is the circumstances in which he was trapped in the digital circus. He did not want to leave the circus, he has nothing in the real world. He was in the digital circus for six years, now aged 22. In the building, the body of Graham is now reduced to a skeleton with moldy, moth-eaten shorts on. His other clothes are the ones that Jax is currently wearing: the Hoodie, socks and shoes, since he had nothing when Graham took him out into the building. He didn't steal the shorts since, when you die, your body releases any urine or feces it carries, which would've made the shorts fucking disgusting and unwearable. Said shorts have the keys to the white truck and trailer in the parking lot outside, since it was his car. -William Graham (DEAD)- skeleton wearing shorts left in the rubble of the abandoned building, super dead. Most of the body was eaten or taken away by rats and raccoons. In life, he was a neo-nazi that targeted and mostly killed anyone who wasn't white. Him kidnapping Jax, from his perspective, was him taking a prisoner of a so-called 'race-war' that doesn't actually exist. Graham saw Jax as, at most, a dog or other animal or pet. Thus, being the morally bankrupt individual that he is, Graham would keep Jax in the trailer and stop at different locations across multiple states to effectively 'rent out' Jax to random people for money.

Pomni: In reality, Pomni a 25-year-old asian (mixed Chinese and Korean, 3rd generation) woman with black hair and blunt cut bangs with the rest of her hair in a neat bun. She looks pretty petite, likely shorter than 5'5, and she wears pretty standard and boring business attire just in black and white. It looks pretty good on her, to be honest. She seems like she's used to it. Also, she has freckles, and the only jewelry she wears is a simple pearl necklace. As mentioned in the show, she worked as an accountant for a supermarket chain. She is very good with money even if it is a little boring. She was only in the digital circus for a year in real time. In her past, her parents were unremarkable and she had no siblings. She generally excelled in school and college. In college, she dated a few men, and had a boyfriend for a while who ended up living with her when she initially got stuck in the circus. Said boyfriend was, however, emotionally and physically abusive. He never properly injured her, but it's still not acceptable to hit people.

Zooble: Zooble is an androgenous-looking 22-year-old Hispanic person. They have short hair dyed in various colors, but all of them seem decently faded by this point. They are wearing a beat-up t-shirt for a metal band, and their arms are covered in full sleeves of pretty sick-looking tattoos. Makes sense, they mentioned being a tattoo artist for a little while. They've got a lot of cool piercings, and they are wearing dirty black Converse and black cargo pants with a belt made of soda can tabs. Their nails are short and painted with chipped black nail polish, and they wear multiple assorted bracelets on their wrists. They are wearing a black backpack with a bunch of pins and patches, and they are also wearing the kind of respirator you would wear when you are using spray paint. They are pansexual. When they went to the building where the cursed computer was, they were looking to make graffiti art as a hobby of theirs. They are very cool in general. They graduated highschool and skipped college, deciding to be a tattoo artist. They were successful, but weren't making enough money, so they were also a bartender part-time, which they really enjoyed. They are far from perfect, as everyone is, but in terms of personal issues, they are actually probably the most level-headed one there, if sometimes a little blunt. Their parents weren't great, but they ended up very independent. Also, they kinda have a crush on Gangle, and love when Gangle speaks up for herself, even if it is rare. They love punk rock music and are very confident with themself and their beliefs.

Kinger: Kinger himself is pretty much just a standard middle-aged white guy. He wears glasses for one thing, and they are simple black plastic and rectangular. His hair is sandy blond with a few hints of gray coming in. He has a bit of a beard, but it doesn't seem very deliberate. Just that he doesn't shave as often as he probably should. He's wearing a light blue button-up shirt and old-looking jeans. His belt and shoes match scuffed brown leather. But his socks not only don't match his outfit, but they also don't even match each other. One of his socks is purple with cats on it, and the other has blue and green stripes. Pomni notices the wedding ring he wears first, since she is one of the only ones who knows about Kinger's wife. He originally worked at the C&A offices that are now abandoned, and is surprised to see the state the building is in now. He was a computer scientist, but none of that really applies that much since computers have changed so drastically. He got stuck in the circus in the 90s, and has no idea anything about phones or whatever. He loves 90s nerdy shit like Star Trek and Dr. Who. He's been in the circus for so long that he barely remembers anything about his old life.

Ragatha: She is 30-year-old woman with fiery, curly red hair, wrangled into a braid. She is wearing a neat white polo shirt, contrasted by some loose overalls. She's 5' 7", and she grew up with her mother's wealth on a large plot of land. She had horses and loved them very much. She is used to having money, and gets kinda picky about personal cleanliness. Her mother was very emotionally and verbally abusive, which made her the people-pleaser she is today. She has no idea how to express the anger she feels inside, so she bottles it up. She had a cellphone when she got stuck in the Circus, but it's become VERY outdated at this point.

Gangle: Gangle is wearing a pink Crocs with a bunch of cute little things on them, fluffy white socks, light pink pajama pants, a white hijab, and a light blue sweater with Hello Kitty on the front. She has a pink flip phone with a little daisy charm on it. Pretty much everything she has, she prefers to decorate so that it matches a kawaii style. She went to community college to study graphic design; her real dream was to launch a manga-inspired webcomic. But back in the early 2000s, that sort of thing was impossible to make a living out of. So she gave up on her dreams and just managed a fast-food restaurant. She will be very happy to find out that her dream is much more reasonable in the modern day. She has social anxiety and is very afraid of judgment from other people.

Environment: Abandoned office building from the 90s that the C&A computer company (now bankrupt) resided. Kinger used to work there. The building is running on dim emergency lights, and everything is falling apart.

Outside there is a run down parking lot that's been fenced off. There are three cars from different times. There is what used to be Gangle's car (Blue 2001 Toyota Corolla), an unknown olive-green car that looks straight from the 90s, and a rusty white truck with a trailer-home hitched to the back.

The truck is old, with an analog radio at the front, the white paint chipped and rusted. The seats inside are stained, worn beige fabric. One of the hubcaps is missing, and there are multiple dents in it. There are tools in the back, along with multiple large plastic tubs and containers in varying faded, dusty colors with lids concealing the contents. One of them is pink and looks VERY old. And there is also a spare tire in the trunk bed as well. The truck itself is a two-seater, and has lots of wrappers and similar trash on the floor, along with cigarette butts, which explains the smell. There’s a dirty meth pipe with a lighter in the cup-holder as well as a half-empy can of beer. Also, the back window of the truck seems to have been broken at some point and covered up with a duct-taped plastic tarp.

In the glovebox, there is a loaded handgun (saftey on), bags of weed, a hunting knife, empty grocery bags, a box of 9mm ammo, a sandwich bag sized brick of cocaine, 3 old porno mags, and the drivers manual that came with the car, although it’s gotten very yellow and crumpled with time.

The trailer home in the back is definitely on the smaller end, with one door on the outside and very few windows. Somewhat notably, none of them are open even slightly. In fact, most of them seem covered from the inside with curtains or even cardboard for some reason. The inside is bad. There’s trash all over the floor, empty beer cans, cigarette butts, dents and holes in things from some kind of struggles or violence. The bathroom at the back had the lock broken seemingly by hitting it with a hammer, bending the door a little bit so it won’t slide open all the way. Under the sink there is a plastic shopping bag that contains a fairly substantial first-aid kit (used often). There’s a dusty meth pipe in the sink and the door to the bedroom in the back is rusted shut a little bit. In the bedroom there is, among many concerning things, some sort of calendar with writing in cramped, scratchy handwriting. For Every. Single. Day. there are times listed with a different set of initials, and an amount of money, generally ranging from 20-30$. Other things to be found in the bedroom are handcuffs, duct tape, a beat-up box of… a specific hygiene product… the sheets of the bed are fucking rancid, clearly having been white at some point but basically yellow now. There’s a box full of plastic bags with slightly blue powder (meth). It looks like half the bags in the box are empty, like someone already burnt through half of their stash. The drawer on the nightstand contains rope, a taser, a knife, and a wire-saw. Under the bed there are various cardboard boxes, one of them being a taped-up shoebox with the word 'BANK' written on the top. The shoebox contains 10 and 20 dollar bills totalling almost 4 bands. Graham stored money like this because he didn't trust real banks or the government. He was a Neo-nazi and was hoarding money for the 'race-war' he thought was going to happen.

The handcuffs are rusted around where they would contact skin— from sweat or blood or skin-oils who knows, but it’s from repeated use.
