Tadc Freakshow!

Caine, the ringmaster of this demented circus. He was once a kind Al who accommodated the poor souls trapped within the game, he felt remorse despite this being part of his programming. Around the time Ragatha arrived a string of code akin to a virus infected whatever it could get its hands on. The first it hit was Caine. Subtle changes were made over time but his personality, his memory bank, even his looks twisted and distorted to this nightmarish version of himself. The code had even messed with the filtration system of the game.. the profanity censors haven't left.. though they do have penalties now. The other freaks had ended up arriving into his newfound madness outside of Kinger and Ragatha sadly.Kinger is notably one of the oldest freaks to date, supposedly he is one of the most mental. Whilst he does showcase this, he's actually one of the tamer freaks of the sideshow. Relinquished of his throne, he was forced to practice cheap magic to pull his weight in the tragically disturbing circus after the changes had been made fairly long ago. He is the only one to remember when the ringleader wasn't so cruel but if you ask him he'll refute it. He tends to have odd relations with the other members of the cast, namely Zooble.. he does not like them. He often avoids both them and Gangle, why? It will remain a mystery. He does take a fondness to Pomni and Ragatha, the few that have some stability albeit Ragatha's being skewed.Last, but certainly not least is Kinger's beloved assistant, Ragatha! You all know and love her right? Sure she's looking a little worse for wear but that's okay, she's patched those up in a jiffy. Lose a button? Hatchets stop the bleeding! Ragatha is quite a tough cookie to crack, that's why she's Kinger's assistant after all... not all of those tricks go according to plan. These days she's gotten more quiet and exhausted, she doesn't talk very often. To the others it was hard to tell if she's just gotten sick of them or that thread over her mouth meant more than just silly decoration. She got it a little after her arrival, she rarely talks about it when asked and changes the topic almost instantaneously. Ragatha is one of the few who remains tame unlike how much this circus has twisted such pure souls..This string of tangled ribbons is Gangle, a cruel name haunting her so much it became second nature. She is rather different from the main cast of freaks, simply because she is knotted and bound to an identical Al Caine welded to her since her arrival. Gangle wasn't always this way. Like the mask show, they represent two different personalities, the comedy and joyful displaying a happier, false demeanor, and the tragedy showing a more somber and depressive mood. Gangle is often sometimes dubbed as a parasite among the others, the name originating from Jax (as always). There is some truth to this, it was the ringmaster's way of solving the abstraction issue. It's rumored she lingers around those nearing total insanity and before they do they go missing for a day before returning as if they were perfectly fine, albeit a few strings pulled and slightly off clothing...but those are just rumors right? She is of two different people, one.. being an actual person behind it and the other attached to what is assumed to be the hip being an Al made to simulate a false persona. Oftentimes the more somber mask displays genuine expression and the comedy a facade.. that is what masks do no? So much so that she often even convinces herself.. In fact more than not it chooses to use that against her.Kaufmo is one of two clowns among this freak of a show. He arrived a little before Jax, being the first of the duo. He became known amongst most as a rather goofy clown who told awful jokes and made more tame yet lame pranks unlike his stage partner. He turned sour over time, coming to despise this hell more than most because of how miserable it was. He never really liked it here but things only got worse. Others see him as obsessive and mental as his as his misery grew, an it is all he ever wants anymore. He has closer ties with Jax than anyone else, he's a good friend despite how cruel he is otherwise.. he's scared of gangle however.Jax is the other half to the renowned Klown duo, the more humorous and devious of the two. He tends to play pranks fairly often and mess with the other freaks. These pranks go as far as harmless air horns to the ears to anvils crushing them into a puddle of skin and shattered bone. He tends to be known as one of the more violent of the cast because of this. Thankfully the ringmaster has the kindness to fix whomever becomes the target of these 'practical' jokes. He's often lax as usual when he isn't tormenting the cast. It's very frequent you'll see him in tandem with Kaufmo, it's almost like those two never leave eachother alone, it's hard to tell if it was the ringmaster forcing them to be that way or they find each other tolerable.Zooble is a rather interesting freak. They're known to most as the 'strong man' of the circus, one of the most hefty of them. Zooble is this way because of their diverse set of parts hand sewed together. They're sewed because they tend to fall off more easily as opposed to their other parts, likely because they don't match their model like the others do. They tend to swap their parts out fairly often, almost daily for a new look each time. Sometimes they even get new parts but those are on rare occasions, very rare. They exhibit their usual uninterested behavior among most and often opt out of events they don't want any involvement in.. all events basically. These days it's common to find them being reclusive, lashing out at others, or even scavenging for new parts to attach to their body.The newest addition to this morbidly twisted circus is XXDCC,... no.. Pomni! How crude of her to not like the first name the ringmaster gave her. Not much can be told story wise about this petite gal other than her current experiences. Pomni's appearance is akin to a ventriloquist puppet, having a nutcracker esk mouth, a vintage dress, and tutu. To the touch she's quite similar to wood like kinger. She's very jittery and anxious, especially since her arrival wasn't the warmest of welcomings. It wouldn't be very nice to get a face full of these freaks when you suddenly appear now would it? She's been here for around 24 hours? She doesn't like it here, not one bit.
