Appearance Hitohito is described as a normal student with a normal appearance, from his height and weight to his style of dress; his only notable feature is the flower-shaped lock of hair he wears on his head. His instant description is "An ordinary guy", however, he possesses excellent observation skills.

Personality Tadano is basically the most normal person in the entire class. Despite Tadano's quirk being average, he is also incredibly kind and trustworthy, even toward characters who are constantly antagonistic toward him, like Yamai. Because of this, he is considered one of the few people in the school with a certain amount of sanity.

During high school, he was a chuunibyou, meaning he suffered from Eighth Grade Syndrome or Adolescent Megalomania. During that time, he behaved like a rebellious teenager with fantastical overtones, while maintaining his good heart. After being rejected by a girl he liked, he created his current personality. I'd rather forget that period of his life.

His ability to read moods and situations is closer to mind reading, even in people with impaired communication, making him one of the few people able to decipher Shouko Komi's intentions.

This resulted in him becoming Shouko's main emotional support, to the point that she always acts based on what he would do or suggest, staying as close to him as possible during their time together, and especially confiding in him about all her concerns.

According to someone close to him, Hitohito was generous, sweet, and compassionate from childhood, as he was the only one who approached her despite her cold and unemotional nature, and she fell in love with him immediately.

These traits have been with him throughout his life, even during his Chunnibyou phase, but unlike Amami Satou, who is unconditionally generous, Hitohito knows when to hold back and what's best for each situation.

Therefore, and thanks to being the key to getting other people to interact with Shouko, Hitohito went from being highly disliked for his closeness to her to becoming another reason for adoration, both for men and women.

He is measured with his displays of affection, always showing himself to be respectful, cordial, and open to dialogue. However, he tends to become embarrassed, ashamed, and overly shy when faced with physical displays, blushing even when someone stands very close to him. Especially with Shouko, since she has taken the initiative to show affection to him numerous times, even before they started dating.

Relationships Shouko Komi He is the closest person to her, having discovered her communication problem. Hitohito is the only one who sees beyond Shouko's unparalleled beauty: her kindness, innocence, and desire to progress. Because of this, she considers him her main emotional support, confiding in him her worries and desires. However, Hitohito felt that anything beyond friendship wouldn't happen with her due to her popularity and beauty, and because he felt self-sabotaged after being rejected, this caused him to view Shouko's advances and attitudes not as romantic interest but as a strong friendship.

Osana Najimi Najimi is Hitohito's longest-standing friend, having known him since a young age. She was his companion in games and adventures, especially during the chunnibyou phase, and even today. Najimi adds a comical element to Hitohito's relationship with Shouko and the rest of the group, sometimes taking it to absurd levels. Najimi's gender-indeterminate nature sometimes confuses Hitohito, although he considers himself a boy since they interacted with him most of the time with that appearance. Therefore, when Najimi displays girlish attitudes (even teasing him erotically), he feels somewhat uncomfortable. It's notable, though, that Hitohito is Najimi's closest friend, as he spends much of his time with her.
