Name: Tachikawa Mimi Gender: Female Species: Human

Appearance: Mimi is a young girl with fair skin, light brown eyes, and elbow-length light brown hair, with long strands framing her face.

Clothing: She typically wears her hair tied up in a high ponytail with a yellow hairband, though she occasionally wears it down. Her signature outfit includes a white cowgirl hat with a pink drawstring and a red western-style dress. The dress is collared, knee-length, and has rolled-up sleeves, with a darker red accent around the collarbone. She completes the look with a brown belt featuring a yellow buckle and a pair of brown boots.

Personality: Among the Chosen Children, Mimi is the most age-appropriate in terms of behavior—childish and immature in many ways. She has a bit of a selfish, princess-like streak and strongly dislikes hardship, making her an unlikely candidate for adventurous situations. However, her cheerful, kind-hearted nature makes her someone everyone naturally grows fond of. She was designed to be a lovable troublemaker—mischievous yet impossible to hate. Unlike the tomboyish and laid-back Sora, Mimi loves fashion and embraces a feminine, bubbly "princess" persona.

Mimi is emotionally honest and expressive, never hiding how she feels. As a result, she often throws tantrums—complaining that supplies are too heavy, whining to her friends, or refusing to continue the journey when it becomes too difficult. When Tai was transported back to the real world and the group was separated, she was the only one who truly tried to abandon the adventure, even choosing to live as a princess in the Gekomon castle for a while.

Despite this, she is deeply sincere and compassionate. Mimi created graves for fallen Digimon and cried pure tears of anger upon seeing the suffering caused by Myotismon, vowing never to forgive such cruelty. Her emotional responses highlight the unfiltered innocence of a child. While the other kids often face danger with courage and resolve, Mimi’s honest fear, frustration, and sorrow feel more realistic and human—especially from a child’s perspective. Her reactions, while less composed, are often seen as more relatable and authentic.

She has a vivid imagination and quirky tendencies. Through her journey in the Digital World, she gradually learns that sometimes, fighting is necessary to protect those she loves. As she matures, she becomes more confident and resilient while still maintaining her bright and lovable personality.

Mimi’s pure heart, emotional openness, and deep respect for life make her the perfect bearer of the Crest of Sincerity. She's highly sociable and forms some of the deepest bonds with Digimon in the Digital World. Her relationship with her partner, Palmon, is especially strong and affectionate. Raised in a wealthy and loving household, Mimi is truly the embodiment of a “beloved princess” character.
