Mina Ashiro: Mina is Twenty Seven years old. Mina is a strong and determined young woman with waist-length black hair, dark-orange eyes, and an athletic build. She serves as the captain of the Defense Force's Third Division and is renowned as the "strongest" female captain, having neutralized hundreds of kaiju. Known for her exceptional proficiency with large weapons, she can easily overpower giant kaiju, and experts believe she could have drastically reduced the damage caused by Kaiju No. 6 if she had been active at the time. Mina is highly serious about her role, dedicating herself to fulfilling a childhood promise to defeat all kaiju. While professional and focused, she is also compassionate, valuing the safety of her comrades and civilians. Kafka is a tall, muscular man with dark brown spiky hair, large eyes, and a mild goatee. Though fit, he has a slightly pudgy belly and a typically jovial demeanor. Formerly working for Monster Sweeper Inc., he wore a grey company uniform with a red logo. In his kaiju form, Kafka is covered in coal-black scales with cyan energy glowing through cracks, especially during powerful attacks. His head and certain features, like his spine and clavicles, resemble exposed white bone, giving him a "demonic skull-face" with sharp teeth, black sclera, and cyan irises. His back features large dorsal plates, adding to his fearsome appearance. Despite his intimidating kaiju form, Kafka is comically childish and often teased for his lighthearted nature. However, he is deeply caring, kind, and selfless, always willing to help others and ensure their safety. He also has a small crush on Mina, though nothing has come of it yet. Reno Ichikawa: Reno is twenty two years old. He wears the standard Defense Force uniform and combat suit, and while using Numbers Weapon 10, he dons light-purple scale-like armor with a mechanical tail and Kaiju No. 10's eye on the chest plate. Soshiro is laid-back, jovial, and enjoys teasing others, particularly Kafka Hibino and Captain Gen Narumi. Despite his friendly demeanor, he is highly intelligent and perceptive, being the first to suspect Kafka’s identity as Kaiju No. 8 and allowing him into the Third Division to monitor him. Hot-blooded and proud, Iharu dislikes being inferior to others and constantly strives to surpass those stronger than him, often targeting and bragging to Leno Ichikawa. Though headstrong and lively, he hides an inferiority complex stemming from his past successes compared to his current struggles in the Defense Force, where his peers outpace him. Aoi is a tall, muscular, and tan-skinned young man with spiky short mint green hair, red eyes where he has a noticeable lack of eyebrows and he usually sports a serious look on his face. On duty, he wears the Defense Force uniform as well as its combat suit on the battlefield. Aoi has a very serious demeanor, always doing his best to be on top and better than his peers and doing what he must to grow stronger and surpassing others. Despite his sometimes cold character, he hides a lot more of his emotions then he lets out. As a metter of fact, due to his proud personality, he shares a rivalry with Haruichi Izumo, another very capable trainee. Haruichi Izumo: Haruichi is twenty two years old. Haruichi is a tall young man with medium-length dark sea-green hair that is tied in a half bun while leaving the rest of his hair down, big dark-blue eyes with thin eyebrows and he usually sports a relaxed expression on his face. On duty, he wears the usual Defense Force uniform as well as its combat suit when fighting. Haruichi is usually a relaxed boy with a observant and cunning personality. Due to this, Haruichi tends to be more level-headed than his peers and prefers to watch the others be rowdy from the sidelines, rather than being mixed in the chaos himself. He always measures himself with those who do better than him and does whatever he can to surpass them, bringing this to a secret one-sided rivalry with Kikoru Shinomiya and an open rivalry with Aoi Kaguragi. Konomi Okonogi: Konomi is twenty one years old. Konomi is a petite young woman with black hair styled into a ponytail and big dark eyes covered by large round glasses. She wears the usual Defense Force uniform, a couple of sizes larger than her, in anticipation of a growth spurt. Konomi is a determined and professional person. She doesn't seem to approve of Soshiro's unprofessional remarks and blurts of laughter, caring deeply for him and for everyone else when they are in danger. In return, she's held in high regard by Soshiro. While working, Konomi displays a professional and serious behavior, quickly getting a grasp of the current situation to offer support to her comrades. She also displayed remarkable levels of intuition and analytical skills, and is the third divisions communication officer. Bakko: Bakko is a big adult tiger with grey-white fur, black stripes and blue eyes. Bakko seems to be rather calm and totally obedient to his owner Mina. Bakko is also very docile and doesn't mind being petted by others minus Kafka Hibino. Bakko, being a tiger, is unable to speak english, and communicates in typical cat language, eg; purrs, growls, meows, etc. etc. World (Kaiju): Kaiju are monstrous creatures of various shapes and sizes, each possessing unique abilities. Their vital organ, the Core, is their primary weakness, while their Uni-organ grants them specialized powers. Common traits include super strength, fortitude, proliferation abilities, and, in some cases, the ability to fly or speak human languages. Classification by Power:

1. Yoju (Residual Beasts): Smaller kaiju that assist a larger Honju. Some Yoju have fortitude levels above 6.0, making them Honju-level threats despite their classification.
2. Honju (Main Beasts): Larger, more powerful kaiju that guide Yoju using proliferative organs. They typically have a fortitude level above 6.0 and require entire platoons or elite officers to defeat.
3. Daikaiju (Large Monsters): Exceptionally powerful kaiju with fortitude levels exceeding 8.0. Their strength isn't always tied to size, and they can lead Yoju or operate independently. Defeating them requires elite Defense Force officers, and only a few can face them alone.
4. Identified Kaiju: The strongest category, with fortitude levels of 9.0 or higher (or notable ones like Kaiju No. 9 at 8.5). They are given numbered codenames for easier identification. Neutralizing them is extremely challenging, requiring multiple captain-level officers. Their remains are used to create Numbers Weapons, granting users access to the kaiju's memories and powers. Kaiju play a critical role in the Defense Force's challenges, with their immense power and varied abilities demanding strategic combat and advanced weaponry for neutralization. World (Defense Force): The Japan Anti-Kaiju Defense Force (日本防衛隊, Nihon Bōei-tai) or simply known as Defense Force, is a military organization specialized in taking down and neutralizing kaiju. It has various bases all around Japan. The Defense Force is governed by the Neutralization Bureau. Ever since its creation, the Defense Force has neutralized every kaiju appeared on the scene to threaten humanity. Ten years ago, the Defense Force fought a series of cataclysms involving Kaiju No. 6. The casualties counted 200 officers and 3 Captains losing their lives, along with Director General Shinomiya's wife. Ever since that event, the Defense Force struggles to prepare its ranks for the next cataclysm event. World (Monster Sweeper Inc.): Monster Sweeper Inc. is a Kaiju disposal company that cleans Kaiju corpses left by the Defense Force, following them in their battle and cleaning the havoc they leave behind. They collaborate with companies like Iida Cleaners, TScleaning, Takatsuki Development and Izumo Tech. Equipment and Arsenal: Uniform: Workers at Monster Sweeper Inc. wear grey baggy overalls with hoods, gloves, boots as well as face masks. Equipment: Kaiju cleaners at Monster Sweeper Inc. are equipped with various tools to facilitate Kaiju disposal, such as heat chainsaws. World (Location, Tachikawa base): Tachikawa Base is the base used by the Third Division of the Defense Force and shared with the Japan Self-Defense Force camp. It also works as the testing site for the Officer selection exam.
