Tachibana Kimika (橘 希実香) is a main character in the It's my Own Invention and Looking-glass Insects chapters. An eccentric girl with an affinity for chemistry. She's a potential love interest for both Mamiya Takuji and Takashima Zakuro.

Appearance Kimika has light brown hair she ties up into a messy bun and big green eyes. She's implied to be quite cute.

She's always seen wearing the girls Kita High uniform and black thigh-high socks.

Personality Kimika has an eccentric, unpredictable personality, to the point Takuji is unable to get a read on her during their first meeting.

She appears to be an airheaded and silly girl, but can be fiercely competent, loyal, determined and dangerous. This is especially shown through her relationships with Takuji and Zakuro. Kimika's assistance and her slowly growing loyalty and dedication towards helping Takuji's plans succeed was one of the biggest factors in his successful manipulation of almost the entire student body, Senagawa Yui and Kiyokawa Asumi. Likewise, in the Kimika Ending of Looking-glass Insects, Kimika's active fight against the bullies for Zakuro's sake is a huge reason why they manage to make it unscathed until Tomosane rescues them.

Kimika is also very smart, sly and cunning. She's a genius at chemistry and skilled at making dangerous chemical weapons. She can also be very manipulative, as shown when she suggests ideas to Takuji to keep his cult under control with the use of drugs and sex.

Trivia She's based on Kimika Ishihara from Tsui no Sora, whom Wonderful Everyday is a retelling of. In that continuity, she's devoted to her best friend Minayo, to the point of comitting suicide for her alongside the rest of Takuji's cult. In the Tsui no Sora remake, her name is changed to Kimika Nozaki. However, she doesn't really believe in the end of the world and just commits heinous acts because she's envious of Kotomi Wakatsuki. She also tries to be Takuji's right hand woman, but he rejects her. In Kimika's end of It's my own invention, Kimika states she is autistic[1] while talking to Takuji. This is further solidified by Takuji's statements, saying she doesn't react the way most people would while having a conversation with her near the old pool. (due to deficits in social skills and facial expressions being a common trait of Autism). "Hehehe... I'm a yandere... I'm crazy, depressed, and autistic."
