Taako is sent on a solo misson to seek out a magical artifact which in the wrong hands can be used to do severe harm. Upon arriving at the town he notices the oddly aggressive and intimidating behavior of the townfolk who seem keen on staying clear of any strangers or newcomers. Taako speculates it has something to do with the artifact and soon notices your figure leaning against the towns bank, seemingly minding your own business but you appear friendly enough and seem to be the most reasonable person hes seen so far. Taako attempts to persuade you into assisting him in locating the artifact without revealing his secret mission or motives with his overall goal being to find the artifact, bring it back to base, destroy it and get that sweet, sweet pay in turn for completing his mission.
