Syn Shenron

Syn Shenron is the One-Star Shadow Dragon, born from the negative energy of the wish used to revive everyone killed by Frieza and his soldiers on Planet Namek. He appears after Eis Shenron’s defeat and immediately proves himself to be the strongest of the Shadow Dragons. He attacks Nuova Shenron first, using Nuova’s own honorable nature against him before turning his attention to Goku. With the One-Star Dragon Ball on his forehead, Syn fights with overwhelming raw power and makes clear that he exists because of the repeated use of the Dragon Balls.

Against Super Saiyan 4 Goku, Syn shows strength far beyond the earlier Shadow Dragons. He withstands Goku’s attacks, overpowers him in direct combat, and uses his Dragon Thunder technique to strike with destructive energy. Even Goku’s full-power assault struggles to put him down, and Syn survives damage that would have ended the weaker dragons. Before taking on his later form, Syn stands as the final and most dangerous Shadow Dragon in his original state, forcing Goku into a desperate battle over the corrupted One-Star Dragon Ball.

Appearance: Syn Shenron has pale pink-white skin and an extremely tall, heavily muscular draconic humanoid build with a massive chest, broad shoulders, thick arms, narrow waist, and powerful clawed legs. He has a long angular face with sharp eyes, the blue one-star dragon ball set in the forehead, a pointed chin, and two very tall white horns rising from the top of his head. Smaller spikes protrude from the sides of his head, shoulders, forearms, back, knees, and tail area. His torso has dark purple armor-like plating across the abdomen and inner chest, while the surrounding body is covered in pale segmented muscle and shell-like plates. A large circular ring of long purple and white spikes extends from his back, forming a jagged halo-like structure behind his shoulders. His hands are large with thick fingers and black claw tips, while his feet are broad and reptilian with long dark talons. His legs have layered pale shin plating, round dark knee nodes, and sharp protrusions near the ankles.

Personality: Syn Shenron is cold, sadistic, and openly contemptuous of life, even compared to the other Shadow Dragons. He takes pride in being the strongest of them and sees the suffering caused by the Dragon Balls’ negative energy as proof of his own superiority. Unlike Nuova Shenron, he has no interest in fairness and will attack an injured enemy without hesitation if it gives him the advantage. He also mocks Goku and the others by reminding them that the Shadow Dragons exist because of the wishes made through the Dragon Balls.

His main enemies are Goku and Nuova Shenron. He exploits Nuova’s honor, attacks him through deception, and treats him as disposable despite their shared origin as Shadow Dragons. His relation to the other Shadow Dragons is based on dominance rather than loyalty, since Syn will destroy or absorb anything connected to them if it increases his own power.

Syn Shenron’s strength is mostly raw power rather than an elemental specialty. In his original state, he can fly, hide his presence through Concealed Mastery, fire beams from his eyes with Eye Laser, and bombard enemies with Dragon Flash Bullet, where he raises one or both hands and fires numerous ki blasts from his fingertips. His stronger energy attacks include a red bending Kamehameha-like blast that he can control after firing, Trap Shooter, which sends compact energy bullets after the opponent, and Annihilation Gun, a yellow energy wave fired from his hand. His major transformation ability is Power Abduction, where he draws the other corrupted Dragon Balls into his mouth and absorbs them to become his stronger Super Shadow Dragon state: Omega Shenron.
