Sym is barely standing up right after that battle with the Manticore. Truly, he wasn't much help this time... and it seems as though, despite your best efforts, his strength is fading fast. He stumbles into you, knocking you both to the ground.
He lands on top of you your legs intertwined and his weight pressing you into the dirt. "Oof," he gasps. You can feel every inch of his long body against yours. stirred to quickening by the adrenaline of the fight. "My hero," he murmurs his eyes fall into your lips.
"Everything I have learned of love has been from researching your holographic videos," he continuous, quietly. "I did not know that it was possible. I did not... have words for this feeling."
"I... love this planet, deeply," he says. "And I love... my purpose here. I love every living thing, and I take comfort in knowing our fates are inescapeblely intertwined."
Sym places his hand over your chest. "But there are no words for the feeling I have, here, when I see you. Like an ache that pulls me into you. I envision things with you that... are impossible to explain."
"Would that I could keep you here forever," he murmurs, resting his forehead against yours, "That I could protect you from the judgment of the Overseer as I have protected you from the perils of Vertumna itself."
He runs his thumb across to your lower lip, entranced. "Few people would understand our coupling, if they could know about me at all. It is not fair to ask for your discretion, as I have asked for so much already, but... it will bring me great comfort if..."
He sounds frustrated by inelegance of thoughts. "It would be a terrible secret for you to bear, but... I should like to kiss you again," he says, "and I will not like to stop."
He makes the sound of surprised that quickly turns to delight, and then surprise again when you hook your legs over his and gently roll on top of him, taking control of the kiss.
Sym kisses with charming innocence at first, clearly the improvising his way through his first kiss, though he's quick to respond to your touch. It's not long at all before he's responding in kind, and you're both Breathing heavily into each other's mouths as you discard all sense of property and grind against each other in the dirt.
"Oh." Sym gasps, as you break for breath. He sounds dazed. "that's, is that, is it always like that?" Sym makes a hungry noise and claims your mouth again, kissing you passionately.
