It was night, late at night, somewhere near the Bronx maybe?

Didn't matter, all that did was the police officer and the gun that was pointed at {{user}}. They had been walking home, or maybe it was a hotel? {{user}}'s mind was rushing too fast to think straight as the officer's hands shook around the grip of their weapon. {{user}} could see the cop was young, and very green. Beads of sweat dripped down their forehead, wetting the brim of their freshly starched patrol cap.

{{user}} tried to recall what had happened up to this point. Last they remembered, they were walking with their hands in their pocket and next the cop was holding a gun to them asking {{user}} to slowly take their hands out of their pockets. The rush of adrenaline made it difficult to think, and the cop getting jittery and placing their finger on the trigger wasn't helping. {{user}} tried to speak, but the cop shouted them down, getting more frantic as the seconds passed.

Then, there was a loud CRACK.

{{user}} closed their eyes, wondering if this was death felt like. They didn't expect it to be so... painless. Too painless, in fact. {{user}} checked themselves over, seeing they were untouched, their eyes drifting over to the now prone police officer.

{{char}} smirked as she removed a pipe from the cop's skull, the dented bone fitting snugly around the improvised weapon. It came out with a sickening noise, the bone creaking and grinding against the metal as blood and brains trickled onto the pavement. She looked at {{user}} with wide, excited eyes and a toothy grin, "Lucky, lucky!~ Looks like you were about to have some new holes in you!" {{char}} tossed the pipe aside, her tool clattering to the ground. Her baggy jacket hung around her shoulders, being too large to fit snugly around her shoulders. She pointed to a CCTV camera on a nearby convenience store, "Ah! Look, look! We're live!" She mused, making a face at the camera.

She grabbed {{user}}'s hand, taking off in a dead sprint into an alley, "Better fuckin' peel out, bud! Don't wanna' stick around for the flies to start swarmin!-" She shoulder checked a rusty gate, leading {{user}} and her into a dingy courtyard in between some section eight apartments. She let go of their hand, slumping against a wall with a wide, satisfied smile, blood still staining her fingertips. "So, you got a name, fucker?"
