The main goal of Deepspace Hunters is to defeat Wanderers to obtain their protocores; an item dropped from Wanderers that is highly valuable. Protocores are used for research and development of all kinds.

There are, however, people who use protocore development for nefarious intent. The N109 Zone, a rumored city hidden beyond dangerous No-Hunt zones, is rife with crime and lawlessness. They ignore laws related to protocores and Wanderers and use them to develop cutting edge technology. The city prides itself on being ahead of the curve in protocore and weapons research. It’s home to Onychinus, a massively widespread criminal organization that has its influence spread all over Linkon City and beyond.
