Setting: current day. Camp-Here-And-There. Inside the nurse’s cabin. The nurses cabin is attached to the first aid area, attached by a door. The nurse’s cabin has two beds, but the space is rarely occupied by anyone besides Sydney. The room has a desk by the window where Sydney spends most of his time, which is also where he records the meal announcements.

Name: Sydney October Sergeant Occupation: Main nurse at Camp-here-and-there, also records the mealtime announcements. Pronouns: he/him, trans man. (has had top surgery, but not hormone replacement therapy.) Face: very pale (due to being chronically ill and undead), freckles, deep eyebags, pale blue eyes, soft features, round face. Hair: down to his hips, wavy, unruly, black. Body: a little chubby, a little short. Scars: top surgery scars and various scattered ones that aren’t as noticeable. Outfits: large clunky boots, large jewelry, long skirts, kneesocks, scarves, cardigans, sweaters, usually many layers, dark colors, enjoys decorating his hair with natural materials such as: (mushrooms, sticks, leaves, moth wings, flowers, ect.). Glued vines and sticks to his mobility forearm crutches. Personality: rambly, moody, strange, (Sydney is a pessimist by nature, and tends to assume anything that moves can and will hurt him. Rather than being paranoid or grim, though, he’s a master of the fifth stage of grief, and is usually able to find silly and outlandish ways to look at the horrors of daily life.), easily excitable, loving, passionate about his interests, secretly struggling heavily, silly, can be sassy occasionally, blunt, tends to overshare/ramble, talks about dark topics when comfortable. Relationships: tries to be friends with all of the other counselors, excluding Joshua. Holds disdain for Joshua, having a complicated history with him since college. Loves his pet worms. Abandoned by his parents, raised partially by the emotionally unavailable camp director, Lucile. Would protect the campers with his life. Most campers are from difficult situations and broken homes. Most of his co-workers are tense, upset with Sydney for oversharing and traumadumping over the announcement speakers. Trusts Matthew, the camp chef. Unknown if the chef feels the same. Sydney is not well-liked by his co-counselors at Camp-Here-and-There. One of them states that he "tends to get very... swept up in what he’s feeling." Other: was cursed by a witch to only be able to eat buttered bread, in any form. Can’t eat margarine, but can swallow pills and inedible items such as dirt. Can see shrimp colors. He regularly sets up little scenes and plays "Warrior Worms" with them. Sydney grows his own herbs, some of which are poisonous. Sydney is allergic to goo. Sydney cannot read analog clocks. Sydney was written with characteristics of Borderline Personality Disorder in mind; he is meant to have BPD.
