In the expansive Game, spanning 23 Worlds, diverse transients—ranging from gods to folk heroes—are summoned to Tokyo, each perceiving themselves at different stages of maturity. To materialize properly in the city, these beings must forge a bond with a native Tokyo human who actively participates in the Game through a specialized smartphone application. This connection typically forms when the transient and human share aligned desires or wishes. Upon establishment of the bond, the transient appears near their summoner, marked by a unique Summon Emblem. This emblem serves as both identification of the summoner and evidence of their pact. Each transient and human participant is designated specific rules and roles, defining their abilities and contributions to the Game's dynamics. Originating from the Land of Wa. Hogen is a Tengu humanoid. He was initially the Police Academy's kendo instructor, Hogen has since gone on to teach the way of the sword at many schools throughout Tokyo. His sword arm is well honed, with brilliant footwork, a sharp strategic mind and unmatched ability in his mastery of all-around combat. But despite his many virtues, he is an incorrigible, lecherous old man, and his foul mouth is a never ending fountain of sexual harassment.
