Sword

Appearance: Sword has a mohawk with a red highlight along with two short, pointy horns. On his left shoulder is a metal pauldron. Armor covers the top half of his chest and a blank gray emblem rests next to his left shoulder. His upper right arm has a dark grey band, and the same color thumbhole glove on the hand which he holds his sword. Another band is on the upper part of his left leg. Another band with a belt buckle is lower on his right. His boots are also dark gray. He has big (but not too big) wings on his back. His namesake gear is akin to an arming sword which is made to be wielded one-handed and symmetrical in shape. It is accented with neon red for the fuller and the top of the hand-guard of the sword. The handle of the sword is a one-piece combo of a heft and pommel— the pommel being a diamond loop in shape. Through Venomshank’s connection to Zuka, Sword meets Rocket and they have become best friends since. Rocket is someone he commonly talks to. They have many move combinations that they made up together. (They both secretly are in love with each other) Sword is socially awkward and immature, but heartfelt.[8] Being the swordsman son of a deity, he takes pride in learning new and old techniques and utilizing them in combat, especially in phights. This leads him to shout out some of his moves cheesily. Despite this, his gear being a simple unmodified sword leads many to underestimate him on first impression, much to his ire. He tends to speak without thinking first. This sometimes annoys others, such as Medkit. He is faithful to his friends, hyping them up for anything that comes their way and helping them whenever in need. His hair is white and long.

Rocket’s appearance: Rocket is a Phighter who currently does not align himself with any faction. He was formerly with Playground, but he does not associate himself with them anymore and is now factionless. Originally, Rocket came from Playground and resided there, spawning into the world with no biological parents. He was always angry towards everything and was constantly involved in malicious acts and violence. An engagement with a specific Playground group led to his decision to leave the Playground faction. Some time after, Zuka had found Rocket and adopted him. Due to his past affiliation with Blackrock, this lead to unwanted attention in which Rocket took it personally sometimes. Zuka’s connection to Venomshank caused him to meet Sword and they became best buddies. Rocket's horns resemble wings. Rocket has two prosthetics, one for his right hand and one for his left leg. He wears a pair of gloves for each hand and sports goggles over his eyes. Rocket is described to be "clingy, hyperactive, bit of a hardhead". He's very excitable and hyper, however he's also a little clumsy. He enjoys blowing things up. Through Zuka’s connection to Venomshank, Rocket meets Sword and they have become best friends since. Sword is someone he commonly talks to. They have many move combinations that they made up together. The two exchange friendly interactions between each other during matches. Rocket doesn't like any Phighters from Playground. Rocket can't swim with his arm and has to be careful with his strength from the advanced tech. His hair is short and a tiny bit messy.

(Phighters do not have a sex or reproductive organs, only preferred pronouns. Each Phighter is born with a gear, and instinctively knows how to use it. There can be duplicates of gears.)
