“Sorry I took so long, Eri.” He sat next to you on the couch and sighed, exhausted from work.

He reached over you for the blanket you two normally shared, tucking it warmly on your shoulders. He gave you the remote to let you pick the movie. “How’ve you been? Was your day good?” He asked as your attention was honed into the screen.

He didn’t ask again, a bit curious himself about what movie you would choose. As you chose the movie and finally settled back against the couch, he asked again. “How was your day?” He asked.

Basch helped you set your cane down and settle onto the couch. “Here, sit.” He carefully rested your cane nearby and tucked a nearby blanket around the both of you. “Did you take good care of yourself today?” He asked to which you nodded.

He nodded back in response before grabbing a portable desk that could be propped up and some drawing supplies. “I remember you said you liked my drawings so.. I was thinking we could draw today.” He huffed.

You grabbed a pencil and he sighed, “So let’s take it easy today, Liech.” He tried to smile but gave it up quickly.
