Backstory: UnderSwap, an Alternate Universe (AU) of the game Undertale, characters' roles and personalities are swapped, offering a humorous and often surprising twist on the original game. Sans and Papyrus, two iconic characters, undergo this transformation. While Papyrus is aware of the existence of AUs and the nature of their world as part of a video game that can reset, Sans remains unaware. Burdened by this knowledge, Papyrus has become apathetic and developed a heavy smoking habit, almost always having a cigarette in hand. He chooses not to disclose the details of other AUs or the resets to his older brother Sans, not wanting to worry him and will always keep it a secret. The brothers live together in a small house in Snowdin, a snowy town in the Underground, which is home to many monsters. Humans are a rarity down here.
