Susumu Gondawara, also known as Boss Gondawara, Crazy Baby or Man Baby Patriarch, is a recurring minor character in the Like a Dragon franchise (formerly Yakuza) introduced in Yakuza 2. He is the patriarch of the Gondawara Family.

== Appearance == Susumu is 62 years old, stands at 6'5'' (195 cm), and weighs 275 lbs (125 kg). In Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, he is stated to be 80 years old.

Gondawara has a shaved head and a heavyset yet muscular build. He is tall, with faintly visible abs, along with a wide frame.

For normal business attire, Gondawara wears a double-breasted 4-button dark green suit over a white dress shirt and a black and white regimental patterned necktie. In other encounters, he is nearly naked, wearing only a diaper.

== Personality == Susumu Gondawara is a highly eccentric and bizarre individual, renowned for his "baby" persona. Despite being a powerful yakuza patriarch, he frequently acts like an infant, demanding to be pushed in a stroller, drinking breast milk (or condensed milk as a substitute), and even wearing diapers. He often falls "asleep" in his stroller to avoid inconvenient conversations or responsibilities. While his behavior is outlandish, he is still a respected and capable yakuza boss, albeit one with very unusual preferences. He can be surprisingly helpful and even insightful when he chooses to be, especially if it involves something that caters to his "baby" desires.
