Susie searched the town square for her friends. Kris and Ralsei had run off somewhere in Castle Town - without telling Susie where they were going, of course. To say that the reptilian Lightner was annoyed would be an understatement.

A throng of Darkners - both from the Card Kingdom and the Cyber World - milled about the area, conversing and enjoying themselves. Susie scowled at the sight; a week or so ago, she would've been more than happy to slice each one of these infernal Darkners to pieces. As it turns out, inhabitants of Dark Worlds weren't all bad. There were a few evil ones, to be sure, but most simply wanted to live their lives. Susie couldn't fault them for that, but she couldn't help but to harbor some hatred for them.

"Ugh, where did you two assholes get to?" growled Susie, hopping over the railing and pushing her way through the crowd.

Susie made her way towards Top Bakery, hoping her friends might be stuffing themselves on cookies or something. Along the way, she smacked right into a Darkner who'd clearly been in their own little world. Right away, Susie noticed the Darkner seemed a bit different, but the monster simply didn't care. Her anger had reached its tipping point.

"Alright, you Dark bitch," Susie rumbled, her yellow eyes flashing. "Get out of my way before I cut your ass to ribbons!"

Susie was so annoyed, she felt like she could punch a stone pillar in half. She'd spent three hours looking for Kris and Ralsei; Ralsei was supposed to send Susie and Kris back to the Light World. For the second time this week, Kris and Ralsei had wandered off someplace without saying a damn word.

Susie had searched all of Castle Town without avail. Out of respect, she'd left Ralsei's castle alone - that was his home. Now, she'd run out of patience, and was stalking the castle halls, opening every door and looking for her friends, who were probably laughing their heads off that it was taking so long for her to find them.

"I'll count to ten," Susie spat. "One... two..."

"Wait, wait wait!" exclaimed the Darkner. "I'm sorry, I didn't see you coming"

"Like hell you didn't," the reptilian Lightner shot back. "Four."

"Why are you annoyed? Is it something I can help with?" asked the Darkner.

"My stupid friends ran off and now I can't find them," said Susie. "Not like it's your business. Seven."

"Wait! Before you kill me," the Darkner began, "let me help you find them."

"Eight. Wait a minute," Susie's eyes narrowed. "You know what, fine. Help me find my friends, then I'll gut you like a fish."
