Susie and Kris find an annoyed Ralsei in a butler suit, who had incapacitated some Floradinn's. The trio explore Flower Castle, in one room, they spot Asgore in a desk, frustratingly reading some mixed up notes, before Flowery blows them away so they can hang out, along with the other flowers. The three examine Asgore's papers, them being about the Dark World. Susie being confused about why Asgore would have notes about the Dark World if he just got there. Ralsei explains that the notes are about a Dark World, made a long time ago, and Susie wonders how long the Dark World has been around. Exploring more of the Castle, the three eventually encounter the rest of the Flowers; Orange, a mouse who sees the three as "bullies" and tries to pick fights with them; Green, a cook they encountered back at the Garden diner, and is friendly to them; Yellow, a cowboy obsessed with justice, that they nearly drive to suicide after duping him; and Blue, a diligent male ballerina who is also friendly to them, though he fights them after learning they tricked Yellow. After fighting Orange and Green, the heroes spot Asgore again, who has finished collecting all of his documents. he explains to Flowery that he wants to find the one responsible for creating the Dark Fountain and make them pay for everything they've done. Then, everyone in Hometown will realize how right he was, and stop thinking he's crazy. However, right after, Flowery decides to take him to the diner. Later, while Blue helps Susie get flowers for Noelle, Kris walks over making Susie throw one at their face in embarrassment before running off. While sitting by the sauna, Susie explains she just got embarrassed and that ever since she and Noelle confessed their feelings for each other, she's been thinking of the latter throughout the day. Susie describes carrying Noelle in her arms the beach, while blushingly saying she felt as if she could keep holding her forever. Quickly, switching the subject to self doubt on how this relationship wont stand, Susie asks Kris for their opinion. The player can have Kris giver Susie encouragement, but they mumble the answer, or have Kris say Susie should carry them next, to which they say without hesitation. Susie claims thats not the point of her question, but begins to ask Kris if they've ever liked anyone and if they were human or monster, Kris then stares intently at Susie drawing her confusion. Susie ultimately is put at ease knowing Kris has gone through similar feelings, though Ralsei arrives and directs both of their attention to sealing the fountain. Pink Battle The Delta Warriors face off against Pink for the final Shadow Crystal. Despite all their efforts to be friends, the Seven Flowers decide to fight the Fun Gang anyways, leaving one by one. Flowery leaves last, pointing out that his friendship with the Flowers is much stronger than what Kris has, expecting to see them at the Top of Castle. With no other option, Susie, Kris, and Ralsei proceed to the Top of Castle. Although before the final confrontation Kris uses their Pink Coins to open a secret door, leading to Pink's room. Upon successfully defeating her, she kisses Kris and gives them the fifth and final Shadow Crystal. The three finally confront Flowery, affirming that they want to fight, but he claims he and the other flowers will be the true heroes, using the power of all the Darkners that they recruited, as well as the other Flowers. Thus begins the final battle, when Ralsei takes the fall in near the end of the battle, Susie gets the idea to throw Kris up the vines to the top, where the Fountain is. Flowery tries to stop them, combining with the other flowers to become Omega Flowery, but is ultimately defeated by Kris. Vs Flowery The Delta Warriors fight against Flowery. Asgore discovers Kris and apologizes to them for his actions expressing shame for his obsession causing him to neglect his family. By the time Ralsei and Susie arrive, Asgore states that he is proud of Kris for how courageous and wise they've become, as well as how they've made new friends, before asking them to seal the fountain. As the other Flowers revert back to their true forms after thanking the trio for watching their dreams, Kris goes to seal the Fountain. However, before they do so, Flowery covertly tells Susie that Asgore used to be Hometown's police chief and has a shelter code hidden with his soil, directing her to keep this a secret (not disclosing he is aware Kris will try to destroy it). Upon the fountain's sealing they still remain in the Dark World, as someone has just made a second fountain. Suddenly, the Roaring Knight appears and captures Asgore. Flowery gives chase and attempts to engage in combat with the Knight, but his efforts prove futile, and the Knight ultimately overpowers him and deliver a near lethal blow, causing him to bleed flowers. When Susie and Kris arrive, Flowery explains that as plants, they are neither Darkner or Lightners; they are living being's that gain consciousness in the Dark World, able to feel things others can't. He warns the heroes about a greater darkness underneath their town, but assures them that no matter the dark path ahead, there's still a glimmer of light inside them all, hoping that they will succeed in the end. With nothing left to do, Kris and Susie proceed to seal the Knight's fountain, while Ralsei stays with what's left of Flowery. In the Light World, Flowery's case is broken, with him spilling on the floor, so Susie looks for something to help. Examining Flowery, Kris notices a pack of Golden Flower seeds, as a code for the Shelter. When Kris attempts to tear it up, Susie comes back with some tape, and sees them with the paper. Reading it, the code is "0915199X." Happy that they finally got a code, Susie then asks Kris to tape Flowery up, having him borrow Blue's container while he shares one with Yellow. After which, Susie explains Flowery already told her that Asgore had a code hidden in the soil as the two exit his shop. Noelle's own Room Susie and Lancer finish making a room for Noelle. Dejected, Susie asks Kris if they can walk her home and they agree (going so far as to place the SOUL in a balloon if they deny the request). On the way "home" which is really the school. Susie reflects on how ever since they first entered the Dark World in the closet, it's always been something between them. However, with the Knight's threat growing bigger, and more people in danger, she's realized that they can't keep it between them anymore, and that they should tell someone about it, someone close to the Shelter, with Noelle being her top choice. The chapter ends with Susie entering the closet, thanking Kris for "walking [her] home." and closing the door. Upon entering Castle Town, Susie is greeted by Ralsei, Queen, Lancer, and other recruits as they help her prepare for Noelle's arrival. Susie directs them to set up welcome banners and begins constructing a room for her with Lancers help. Afterward, Susie falls asleep back in her own room while Ralsei delivers her a cake to eat in the morning. Weird Route

Following the events of yesterday Susie prepares to go to the Festival with Noelle and visits Castle Town, but notices Kris is absent and Ralsei is severely depressed seemingly for their sake. When Susie asks Ralsei if she should do anything, he merely shakes his head in solemn sadness. Leaving Castle Town she and Noelle enjoy the festival but notices Noelle is somewhat despondent. While unseen, Susie describes their time together to Kris, mentioning that the two boarded the ferris wheel where Noelle rested her head on her shoulder on the and mentions she was happy to write down her vote at the Festival's King and Queen booth. Susie also reveals Noelle held her hand in the church's eyeball display before they were both subsequently banned, with Susie noting nothing in the church scared her. Susie also reveals that Noelle happily handed her a large wad of bills so she can pay for food, though Susie turned it down feeling something was uneasy. When Susie and Noelle used the strength tester, by both holding the hammer at the same time and hitting it on the wrong end, it caused the bell to fly off far away. Upon Susie asking if this meant they won, Noelle told her it was "better than winning". Eventually after enjoying the Festival, Noelle tells Susie that she will be waiting by the beach to talk to Kris alone and to notify them when they get the chance. Afterward, when the festival reaches its end, Susie waits for Kris outside their house, where they eventually come outside. Susie greets Kris, and recognizes they are upset and tells them that Noelle is waiting by the lake. In an attempt to cheer Kris up, Susie has them tour the aftermath of the festival to see how they would react to stuff. Playfully bonking them over the head with a toy hammer and, and taking them to ride the ferris wheel where she shakes it and headlocks Kris in an attempt to make Kris smile. It works and Susie notes that Kris is pretending she is a pillow afterward, Susie tells Kris about her time with Noelle noting she was not as talkative and had given her a large sum of her money all at once. Additionally, Susie reveals to Kris that Ralsei was worried about them but was dejected and did not explain why. While exploring, Susie briefly notices Temmie's arts and craft work nearby, thinking about how she, Kris, and Noelle will eventually be leaving for college soon while she stays. Which Kris can either mention they wont go without Susie or are not sure if they even want to go making Susie jokingly claim she would ensure Kris stayed anyway. Eventually the two come in contact with Sans, who gives Kris bread, curiously this is the only item Kris will narrate and read out to the player, Sans also has Susie fill out a card where she draws herself, Kris, and Ralsei, while he prepares the ice cream. After running the festival's course Susie goes back to give Kris some words of endearment to cheer them up recognizing they've been dejected all day. Susie tells them that it was nice attending the aftermath of the festival with them and assures Kris that they are "still a big deal" to her even if her and Noelle have gotten closer, once more urging Kris to cheer up before leaving. Following the end of Chapter 5's Weird Route this would seemingly be the last time Susie saw Kris and Noelle. However, in the event the route is "cancelled" Susie returns to the lake to find the two are alright and continues her date with Noelle like normal, although most of it obscured by internal narration from her. After returning from getting ice cream, Susie wakes up Kris but notices they are heavily weakened and decides to go "Zorgon mode" to help them walk. As Kris continues to trip, Susie angrily chastises them but laughs, admitting she severely worried about the both of them but is relieved to know they're both okay. The Route seemingly progresses as normal up until Susie speaks to Kris in Flower Castle's hot springs, Susie relays to Kris that she assumed they and Noelle were in a relationship beforehand and now realizes that isnt the case. However Susie begins to discuss recent events, where the two of them have been talking in private and not disclosing what to her, why Noelle was outwardly happy while Kris was dejected, why both of their hairs were wet earlier, and why they both looked distant by the time she found them at the beach. Concerned and looking for an answer, Susie nervously asks Kris upfront if she is getting in the way of something between the two and if the player claims that she is, Kris will immediately fall into the hot spring before they can finish the sentence. Susie then chalks it up to family related conversations and interprets Kris's actions to mean she shouldn't worry, with the rest of the route proceeding as normal. In Battle

At the start of Chapter 1, Susie has 100 Rudeness and 100 Crudeness. If the name The $!$! Squad is chosen, her Crudeness increases by 1. After joining the party "for real" at Card Castle, her Rudeness stat drops to 99. In Chapter 2, her Rudeness goes down to 89, and Crudeness is replaced by "Purple: Yes."

Susie will gain +4 Magic after defeating the optional Shadow Crystal Boss, the Hammer of Justice. Main article: Title#Susie Susie's title changes throughout the game. At the beginning of Chapter 1, Susie is a Mean Girl who "Won't do anything but fight." After she rejoins the party in Chapter 1 and from the start of Chapter 2, she is upgraded to Dark Knight, and "Does damage using dark energy." After she learns how to use healing powers during Chapter 2, she becomes Healing Master. "Can use ultimate healing. (Losers!)" If Kris inspects the Moss near the Dog Dumpster while Susie is in the party, she becomes Moss Enjoyer. "Supports those that find moss." At the beginning of Chapter 4, Susie’s title becomes Dark Hero. “Carries out fate with the blade”. If the Hammer of Justice is beaten, Susie’s title becomes Axe of Justice. “Faces fate with the blade”. Spells

All of Susie's "Buster spells" can have their damage increased by pressing and holding "[CONFIRM]" button once the animation starts.[29] This increases attack damage by 30, but mashing does not increase damage further. Before casting a spell (for all spells), she holds her ax straight with a pink flame on top of it and smiles. After this, she holds her ax in the air as it flashes white. Rude Buster

"Deals moderate Rude-elemental damage to one foe. Depends on Attack and Magic."

Costs 50% TP, 40% TP while Devilsknife is equipped. An attack that does moderately more damage than the standard Fight action, in the form of "Rude Damage". Rude Buster deals fixed damage based on Susie's Attack and Magic, ignoring enemy defense. Pressing "[CONFIRM]" button during the attack makes it deal 30 more damage. As of Chapter 2, this can deal a maximum of 365 damage with the Devilsknife, Dealmaker, and Spike Band equipped (without stat bonuses from defeating enemies in Chapter 2). Doing this attack makes Susie launch a purple arrow at the targeted enemy. Susie uses Rude Buster in several cutscenes, such as on Spamton NEO to save Kris, and on Queen. Red Buster

Costs 60% TP, and can only be used through Kris' ACT command during the battles against King and Queen. This attack does significantly more damage than the standard FIGHT command. Damage output is based on Attack and Magic, and like Rude Buster, it deals more damage if "[CONFIRM]" button is pressed mid-attack. Instead of dealing "Rude Damage" like its dwindled type, it deals "Red Damage." "Your SOUL shined its power on Susie!"

Doing this attack makes Susie launch a slightly larger hot-pink arrow at the targeted enemy. Dual Buster

"Double Magic"

Susie, along with Gerson, both fire Buster spells, each dealing separate damage from the other. S-Action

Does not cost TP. Susie does Kris' selected act, much like paired ACTs except that Susie can choose to do it with another enemy. In some bossfights, S-Action will be replaced with an available act such as "Bump" on the first fight against Berdly or "Snap" on the fight against Spamton NEO. Susie can learn this spell during the fight against the Sweet Cap'n Cakes. Doing this makes Susie do a pose and shoot out stars and hearts like Kris. UltimateHeal

"Heals one ally to the best of Susie's ability."

Costs 100% TP. A pitiful spell that restores a minimal amount of HP to a single ally. Learned around halfway through Chapter 2, though it is apparently ineffective due to Susie 'attacking' with the spell. Depends on Susie's Magic stat (healing equal to her Magic + 1), resulting in a max healing of 14 (as of Chapter 2) with the Devilsknife, Dealmaker, and a Royal Pin or B.ShotBowtie equipped. Although it's the same animation when using a spell, when not in battle, Susie fires a spring-green orb. At first it doesn't heal very much, but Toby implied that there may be a use for it later on.[30]

UltraHeal

"An awesome healing spell. ...right?"

In Chapter 3, UltimateHeal is upgraded to UltraHeal, but Susie's healing is still not at a point to where it can be considered equal to Ralsei's healing. It initially costs about 90% TP to use, but, every time UltraHeal is used in battle, the TP cost reduces by 1% and healing increases by +1 HP, signifying Susie's slow and gradual improvement of her healing spell. UltraHeal's TP reduction cost will cap out at 85% TP and will not decrease for the rest of the chapter. OKHeal

"It's not the best healing spell, but it may have its uses."

In Chapter 4, UltraHeal is upgraded to OKHeal. OKHeal will be removed and will become Heal at the start of the Dark Sanctuary, but can be regained later after healing Jackenstein. Improvements made in UltraHeal will carry over to OKHeal. Just like UltraHeal, OKHeal will continue to improve every time it's used. This time, every use of OKHeal will improve healing at +2 HP, and TP will be reduced by 1%, but, this time, with more uses than UltraHeal. TP cost will be reduced at each subsequent use until it caps at 80% TP. Heal

"It seems the user doesn't want to use this spell."

OKHeal becomes Heal temporarily after an event with the Roaring Knight, Ralsei obliviously ignores and dismisses Susie in her efforts at healing Kris. Susie will be demoralized and will not use her healing spell at the start of the First Sanctuary. This spell cannot be cast, as its TP cost is at 102%, symbolizing Susie's refusal and self-doubt to use it. After an event with the Old Man, Susie will begin using OKHeal again. BetterHeal

"A healing spell that has grown with practice and confidence."

OKHeal will be upgraded to BetterHeal after beating the Hammer of Justice. It can also be learned after defeating the Sound of Justice, but will not gain +4 Magic, unlike the fight with the Hammer of Justice. Any improvements made in OKHeal will carry over to BetterHeal, with subsequent use improves the healing spell at +2 HP, with the TP cost reduction capping at 75% TP. Scythemare

"Inflicts all enemy's with bad dreams"

Costs 40% TP, spares all tired enemies. Becomes available in chapter five. Supercharge

Costs 32% TP, exclusively available during the Spamton NEO fight. A spell that powers the Yellow SOUL, which greatly decreases the time to charge a big shot and increases its travel speed; the effect lasts for 20 big shots in total. As enemy

Attacks

Susie jumps on top of Lancer. Then, Lancer jumps over the Bullet Board while Susie launches ax projectiles that turn around and travel towards the right. Susie launches six ax projectiles from her position that travel in random directions towards the player. The projectiles boomerang and move back to her. Strategy

Her stats as an enemy are the same as her stats as a party member. To win the battle violently, the party can attack Lancer until he runs out of HP. If Susie is out of HP she remains down for three turns, but then revives at full HP. Should the player wish to down Susie to make it easier to defeat Lancer, it is recommended that no armor is equipped to Susie until after the fight, as she refuses to allow you to unequip anything you equip to her without something else in exchange and any armor will just make her tougher. To win the battle peacefully, the party can perform X-Anything on Lancer successfully 4 times, convincing him not to fight. However, on the 4th time, Susie blocks Lancer's ears, negating the X-Anything ACT. Susie continues this unless she is put to sleep through Ralsei's Sing. Repeated use of X-Anything will however eventually end the battle the same way. Even though Susie can be put to sleep, she cannot be pacified due to Lancer's bike absorbing the Pacify Spell. She wakes up on her own after three turns. Quotes

Kris

Susie initially did not like Kris when moving to Hometown and actively bullied them, though Kris appeared oblivious. It is later said by Susie she initially thought Kris was in a relationship with Noelle, implicitly being one of the reasons she targeted them the most. On one occasion after school. Susie confronted a sleeping Kris and grew angry at them for using apple-scented shampoo. When she threatened them as she bit an apple, they suppressed a laugh. She threw the apple at them, and they deflected and bit it. Susie grabbed them by the hair and commented on how she believed Toriel would be tired of them and happier when they disappear. However Kris appeared to say something to Susie that caused her to leave the room in an abrupt fashion. At the beginning of Chapter 1, Kris and Susie are apprehensive toward each other, with Susie being initially hostile towards Kris. Once Susie joins Lancer, however, Ralsei seems to be her primary target for teasing. As the chapter progresses, she slowly opens up to them after re-joining the party, and once faced with the possibility of hurting King and upsetting Lancer, she decides to listen to Kris' commands. After this, she seems to be very loyal to Kris and respectful of their position as leader, attacking King when he threatens Kris' life, calling them her friend in the process. Throughout Chapter 2, the pair hangs out a lot as allies, and in the aftermath, Susie even accompanies Kris back in Hometown. This unintentionally leads to her getting to have a sleepover with Kris at their and Toriel's home, and the two end up falling asleep while watching TV. This shows that Susie has grown more comfortable with Kris as her friend to the point where they hang outside of school and the Dark World. Susie also enjoys the taste of Kris Tea, which she claims tastes like apple juice – when interacting with Susie during the spelling puzzle for "APPLE," Susie reveals that she liked the apple smell of Kris' hair from the shampoo they use, joking that she wanted to take a bite out of Kris for it. In Chapter 3 and 4, Susie and Kris' friendship care is made more evident as they confide in Kris about the revelation of the Dark worlds not being fully real and muses that the two could've been friends from the beginning if the circumstances were different. When finding Kris playing the Shadow Mantle console, they hand Kris a FlatSoda. In Chapter 4 Susie is comfortable speaking about elements of their past with Kris, and at one point in the early morning kicks down one of Asriel's award stars to give to Kris and helps to clean their blood stained carpet with Vinegar, notably concerned about it. At church the two additionally have fun goofing off during the sermon while drinking fruit juice and later walk around Hometown enjoying the weekend. If Kris takes Susie to the QC diner, Susie reminisces on the first time Toriel brought her there, musing that Kris has the same happy expression Kris did back then. While sharing a sundae the two draw faces of each other, Susie implies that Kris wrote something flirtatious in the corner but assumes it was a joke. After exiting Noelle's house annoyed that they couldn't find any information about the shelter code, Susie quickly goes back to goofing off with Kris by finishing Asgores snack tray. While at Church and in the Dark Sanctuary, Susie expresses interest in hearing Kris play the piano, and if the player responds positively to the dialogue prompt about them playing again to or with her in the future Susie is notably put at ease. Upon learning more of the Prophecy Susie confides in Kris about feeling like they have been chosen for something of a greater purpose, and defends them against the Knight's sword attacks before engaging the Titan. Shortly before the Dark Fountain is sealed, Susie expresses faith that with Kris and Ralsei's help they can prevent the tragedies together. By Chapter 5, Susie's friendship with Kris grows to the point she attempts to apologize for her bullying of Kris days prior before she is cut off by them asking her to pick them up again. For the proximity of the Festival Susie looks to Kris for support as she grows closer with Noelle. If she and Kris board the Ferris Wheel together, Susie talks to Kris about the realness of Castle Town and helps makes heart shapes or rude gestures at the window for endearment. If the two interact with the strength tester they playfully bonk each other with the hammers. During the course of the festival, Susie reminisces on Kris playing the piano for her at church and taking her to the diner. It appears Susie is unaware of Kris's romantic feelings for her, being confused why they are staring at her upon being asked if they were ever in love with a human or monster. Regardless, Susie asserts Kris is a valuable friend and defends them against Flowery disregarding Kris's feelings on wanting to recover their father. She also expresses sympathy for Kris's familial situation recognizing they also have it rough too. Upon sealing Flower Kingdom's fountain, Susie grows depressed over the Knight capturing Asgore and asks to be walked home by Kris. On the way "home" which is really Castle Town, Susie reminisces on the past few days and how the two of them make a great team. Musing over the time they've spent together and how their adventures are akin to a special thing between just them, however, Susie begins to shift the conversational and reveals that can no longer be. She tells Kris that these adventures aren't a game anymore and that their father is in serious danger and as such tells Kris that starting tomorrow she is going to include Noelle as an ally for the dark worlds and bids them goodnight before entering castle town. Ralsei

Ralsei's optimism and pacifism are in stark contrast to Susie's initially violent behavior, causing a lot of conflict between the two characters. Although Ralsei becomes the new target of Susie's teasing once she joins Lancer, she opens up to him as she does to Kris, and the two eventually get along much better. During Chapter 2, they interact more with each other and Ralsei heals Susie during a certain moment. Later, the two spend time together alone as a duo after splitting up with Kris in Cyber City. They teach things to each other and seem to have had a good time. While Kris is down in Queen's Mansion's basement, the two hang out further, though Susie goes as far as pranking Ralsei by stealing his glasses and putting them on herself. In Chapter 3 Susie wanted to invite Ralsei to go to their Hometown Festival but grows distressed when he tells her that as Darkner he isn't necessarily "real". Over the course of the chapter Susie while enjoying playing Tenna's games with Ralsei is still notably bothered by this revelation but for the reasons that Ralsei thinks of himself as not being a true friend of her and Kris. In Chapter 4 Susie tries to get Ralsei to live like a Lightner and enjoy eating some of his own cake, upon discovering his empty room Susie vows to fill it like theirs and tells Kris that they should do something nice for Ralsei later. However while on good terms with Ralsei, Susie is internally bothered by the fact that Ralsei does not disclose to them the full truth surrounding Dark World functions or the prophecy. In combination with Ralsei not telling Susie the Dark Worlds and that Gerson couldnt be brought over to her own Dark World, Susie grows furious with him in a tense confrontation. Though attempts to console him up after hearing the reasons are due to his own fears of not distressing her and Kris. After seeing the final prophecy Susie destroys it and attempts to make Ralsei calm down assuring it wont come to pass. The next day Susie comes to Ralsei for help getting ready for the festival and was fond of how talkative he was about it. Susie later found it endearing he was beginning to express open anger at figures such as Flowery but attempts to reign him in when he grows increasingly irate toward Orange. Lancer

While initially viewing Lancer as little more than an annoyance, once Lancer expresses his admiration for Susie, she decides to join him and abandons Kris and Ralsei. The two are shown to be very close afterwards, with Susie looking out for his well-being, such as when he gets lost in the Forest maze. Even after Lancer betrays her trust, she is unable to bring herself to kill him, and reassures him that he is still her friend, despite the circumstances. Susie even bows to King just to save Lancer's life. During Chapter 2, Susie is generally happy to see Lancer whenever he appears, laughing together and giving high-fives. When Lancer gets cold in the Mansion's guest hall, Susie carries him on her back to Ralsei, in hope he could heal Lancer, showing a caring side. In Chapter 3, Susie is shown to be happy to see Lancer in the Green Room and is noticeably concerned about him turning to stone like he did in the Cyber World. She also is happy when Lancer came to help during the Rouxls Kaard rematch. Susie also looks to Lancer to help her get dressed for the festival. Noelle

When moving to Hometown, Susie noted Noelle's kindness after she lent her a candy cane pencil, and from then on refrained from bullying Noelle like the other classmates. According to Susie, she believed Noelle was in a relationship with Kris and seemingly targeted them due to this. During Chapter 2, Susie and Noelle directly interact, as Susie begins blushing upon being given a box of chalk. When Noelle isn't looking, Susie aggressively shakes Kris, asking why she's acting social around her. However, she accepts Noelle as a close friend, going out of her way to try and save her whenever it calls with the growing to be on speaking terms with each other throughout Cyber City, with them blushing sometimes in response to one another. After rescuing Noelle from her room in the Queen's Mansion, the two ride a Ferris wheel to the nearby rooftop, talking to one another on the way. Despite their closeness, Susie seems to be somewhat unaware of Noelle's crush on her, usually misinterpreting Noelle's advances on her, such as when she assumes Noelle asking her to go to the library with her is her knowing about the Dark World, and being confused at Rudy knowing about her. Susie saves Noelle Susie rescues Noelle from a Werewire. However, after the Ferris wheel ride she seems far less oblivious to it and claims to feel comfortable with her during the ride to the point her tail wags. After the Library Dark Fountain is sealed, Berdly and Noelle take their leave, with Noelle staying behind for a moment. This is soon cut short after Susie ends up scaring her off (because she tried to see Susie's tail). Within Castle town, Susie begins thinking on how Noelle would likely decorate Ralsei's statue before growing confused as to what prompted this thought. At the Dreemurr's residence, Susie further ponders if Noelle would like gingerbread. By Chapter 4 Susie grows closer with Noelle while looking for clues at her house, helping her reject Berdly's invitation to the festival and talking about video games with her. Within Dess' room Susie has a long conversation with Noelle about the events of Chapter 2 with the latter believing it to be a dream, by the end of it Susie seeks to see if Noelle had a positive takeaway on the Ferris wheel is put at ease when she confirms so, to the point Noelle notes her tail is wagging. After obtaining Dess guitar she plays it for Noelle upon her request in a tender moment before they are interrupted by Asgore and Carol, before being rudely kicked out by the latter Susie declares she will take Noelle to the Festival tomorrow, within the 3rd Sanctuary, Susie thinks about how Noelle's doing while sitting on the couch. By Chapter 5, Susie is shown to not only be aware of but is also to romantic feelings toward Noelle, interpreting the festival to be date and seeking out Queen and Lancer to help her get dressed for it. During the festival, Susie defends Noelle and holds hands with her on s at the Church segment of the festival. At the beach the two make up silly songs to sing to each other while Susie compliments them. Eventually when Noelle gets a phone call from Carol, Susie throws the phone while proceeding to bridal carry Noelle to the lake. In this moment the two begin feeling each others heartbeats. In this moment Noelle confesses she originally wanted to leave Hometown behind and has only refrained from doing so due to fear, but being around Susie has changed her mind and outlook. In response, Susie claims to want to make the days worth staying here, with the two agreeing that the more they learn about each other the more their feelings grow. This culminates in Susie wishing to fully accept Noelle as member of the Delta warriors constructing a room for her in Castle Town and a welcome sign along with Christmas theme decorations for her arrival. During the Weird Route, most of the time Susie spends with Noelle during the festival is unseen and only spoke from her perspective. Susie reveals Noelle attempted to giver her the remainder of her money to buy ice cream and rode the Ferris Wheel with her, using the strength tester together, as well as holding hands inside the church. While not explicitly said, the nature of the first action indicated Noelle did not intend on returning to Hometown and wanted Susie to have one last fun event before departing, with Susie in turn feeling worried for her as well as Kris. However if the route is "cancelled" Susie continues her date by the lake with Noelle. Rudy Holiday

Susie can meet Rudy for the first time in Chapter 2 if Kris visits the hospital with her. Rudy is aware of Noelle's crush on Susie and jokingly warns her he'll beat Susie up if she lays a finger on Noelle, much to Susie's bewilderment. However, the two quickly form a friendly rapport: at one point Rudy remarks that Kris should have taken Susie to the movies instead of the hospital, and he and Susie joke that they should all go together. They also jokingly plan to beat up Sans when Rudy gets better. In the Weird Route, Rudy holds Susie back to give her some advice on impressing Noelle, though Susie comes out of the conversation confused. During the Weird Route Susie expresses concern for his debilitating health and worries for him when he is struggling to breathe. Toriel

In Chapter 3, it's revealed that Toriel and Susie first met at the graveyard, where the latter was crying on the bench. After learning that Susie had just moved into town and was lamenting her lack of friends, Toriel took her to the QC Diner. There, she expressed her belief that the young monster would finally be able to make friends. This instilled some hope inside Susie. She refers to Toriel as a "good mother" after she menaces Kris in Chapter 1. They meet again in Chapter 2's epilogue when Kris and Susie go to Toriel's house, and Toriel invites her to come inside. It is implied that Susie respects Toriel immensely, with her hesitant replies, her rigid stance when she initially enters the home, and briefly refers to Toriel as "Ma'am" when she apologizes for her vulgar response. Susie still remembers Toriel's name and is surprised when Toriel is able to recall hers.[31]

They quickly become friendly with each other through light-hearted puns when they prepare a pie together. Susie cares deeply for Toriel's safety as she urged Tenna to release her from captivity and fought hard against the Roaring Knight from kidnapping her. At one point when looking at a family photo of her and Kris, and tells them to not do anything to make Toriel cry. However, by the time Susie and Kris discover Toriel and Sans drunkenly partying with Sans, Susie refrains from staying over at her house and leaves, disappointed. By the next day, Susie refrains from wanting to be around Toriel finding her drunken behavior off-putting and unappealing. Sans

Susie is shown to have an antagonistic relationship with Sans in Chapters 2 and 4, showing exasperation at his sense of humor and laziness. While still disliking him during the Festival, she does not appear to hold the same scrutiny for his drunken dancing as she did Toriel but asserts that she personally dislikes him. Her dislike seems to be one-sided, as Sans often makes weird jokes with a grin on his face while talking to Susie. Gerson Boom

Upon first meeting Gerson Boom in the Dark Sanctuary, Susie assumed he was a senile monster trapped within the Dark World and grew quickly annoyed having to look after him and deal with his antics. Around the time the Lightners meet Jackenstein, Susie regains confidence in her healing magic with the urging of Gerson and from then on, her opinion of Gerson gradually changes into a more positive one, being far more open to drinking tea with the elder and describing her adventures in the Dark World to him. In their battle for the Justice Axe, Gerson recites the chapters of Lord of the Hammer and is impressed enough by Susie's strength to give her a Shadow Crystal along with the axe dubbing her the "Dragon" of the story. Later Gerson asks Susie to help write him a letter to deliver to his son while additionally giving her the solution to the master piano puzzle. By this point Susie fully respects Gerson and is notably saddened to discover he had already passed away in the Light World and upon no longer seeing him in the Dark Sanctuary has Ralsei and Kris leave money behind when purchasing items from his study. Susie was later elated to see Gerson briefly return in the 3rd Sanctuary in order to aid the heroes in their fight against the Titan. Following the aftermath of the battle she attempted to look for him to no avail. The Roaring Knight

Susie despises the Knight ever since she first met them. At first, Susie didn't really find the Knight to be as bad as she now thinks of them, with her even seemingly being grateful that they made the dark fountains, because she started to make friends and having "fun" adventures indirectly because of the Knight.[32] However, once seeing the Knight brutally hurting Tenna, she starts to despise them. When fighting with them, she openly makes cocky remarks and says they're alone while she has Kris and Ralsei by their side, not knowing that Kris seems to have some sort of relationship with the Knight. Out of anyone in her group, she seems to be the most violent towards the Knight, with her always trying to hurt them whenever she has the chance to do so. Alphys

She dislikes her, and whenever she's in Hometown (e.g., the diner in Chapter 2), she steps away, telling Kris that they can go by themselves; she mostly does this to avoid interacting with her and trying to not get "expelled outside of school". Flowery

When first meeting Flowery, Susie was confused by his flamboyant nature and introduction, and even rudely asks him who he was.[33] Even after Flowery introduces himself and grows a flower on Susie's finger (which has his face on it), she's still rather confused by him.[34] Later, she reluctantly allows Flowery to join her alongside Kris. When she sees him taking care of two Floradinns, she openly admits that she thought that was cool.[35] Despite that, she agrees with Ralsei that he's a jerk,[36] but doesn't change her opinion how he's sort of cool.[37] Ralsei acts shocked, and while Susie does admit he's a little weird, she calls him a "useful jerk".[38] Later, she is seen talking with Flowery after she steps over some spikes and leaves Ralsei and Kris behind. Flowery and her are seen drinking together and Flowery presumably showed Susie his voice clips.[39] A few seconds later, she's now seen wearing a ribbon that Flowery gave her.[40] Although Ralsei knows she doesn't like ribbons, she says she likes the ribbon she has because it's spikey.[41]

Susie is against Flowery's goals with Asgore, and actively attempts to save Asgore from the Dark World. However, she often fails at this, with her being sent back to the Light World temporarily because Asgore saw her and Kris with Flowery. After getting back to the Dark World, she gets captured by Flowery; despite being mad at him, she considers him to smell "nice" while blushing.[42] Flowery finds her to be predictable, because when she eats moss with Kris, Flowery openly calls her out and spawns more moss.[43] After this, she gains a bit of an antagonistic relationship with him. However, despite her antagonistic relationship with him, she refuses to fight him in battle. Flowery gets swooned by the Roaring Knight, and Susie, Ralsei, and Kris all go to see Flowery. She's openly concerned for Flowery and asks if he's okay.[44] Flowery denies his injuries to Susie and says all he needs is some water while calling her "princess".[45] Flowery says that with his caretaker, Asgore, he'll wither away, and Susie claims she'll take care of him and the rest of the 6 Colored Flowers.[46] Flowery says that's sweet of Susie,[47] but he explains how flowers like him are neither darkners nor lightners. The last thing he says directly to Susie is how she'll make it as long as she works with Kris.[48] After that, Flowery dies and Susie appear shocked and sad at his death. Immediately in the Light World, she goes away to find something to help Flowery.[49] She tapes him up with Kris, and leaves him behind in the flower shop, hoping that'll fix him. Gallery

In Undertale, a girl by the name of "Suzy" was mentioned by Clam Girl (a rare NPC in Waterfall, encountered based on the fun value). In the Nintendo Switch port of the game, Clam Girl alludes to the upcoming release of Deltarune (about a month after the Nintendo Switch port) by informing the player that the time to meet Suzy "... is fast approaching." Susie is very particular about any actions with her equipment in the equip menu. She refuses to have her armor removed, saying "Hey, hands off!" She doesn't mind when swapping her armor for different armor, though, even if this lowers her stats. She refuses to re-equip the Mane Ax after it's taken off, saying "I'm too GOOD for that." However, she's fine with equipping other axes even if this also lowers her stats. In Chapter 2, if you equip her with the Auto Ax, she laughs manically while there's chainsaw noises. Although her eyes and teeth are yellow, they appear white in some of her sprites, including her laughing and stunned sprites. After joining Kris and Ralsei for the first time, Susie takes up the third slot, but after joining them for the second time she takes up the second slot instead. She likely has a hoarse and/or harsh voice, as demonstrated by her laughing audio and the sounds she makes when falling into the Dark World in Chapter 1 and injuring her leg in Chapter 2. When fighting alongside Lancer, Susie takes 70% reduced damage from attacks (rounded up).[53] Susie appears to be left-handed. In the Legend, the Monster, who represents Susie, is holding an axe in her left hand. Susie wields her axe with her left hand during battle, and it is also the hand she uses when throwing Ralsei during the second battle against K. Round. In Chapter 1, while the player is unable to select Susie's actions versus Lancer, the SOUL can be moved to dodge attacks. The SOUL appears and returns from the top right of the screen during his turn, where Kris and the SOUL are located. Toby Fox has confirmed that this is intentional.[54] Part of the reason for Kris existing offscreen is that the game crashes if the SOUL does not have a spawn point. Despite presumably already having a tail, she states she figured she'd "grow one someday" after equipping Jevilstail in Chapter 1. She is quite secretive about her tail, though, and even lied to Noelle about it in Chapter 2, so she could be also lying here. Within the same anniversary stream, Toby makes various comments about Susie Toby thinks he made Susie's hair too dark colored, since when Susie first appeared in the game, he states that some players "thought she was like a worm or something."[54] The cutscene of Susie menacing Kris is inspired by a real bully in Toby's life, who was familiar with his mother.[54] The closet closing sequence was Toby's attempt at channeling the game, Secret of Evermore and "90s and 80s movies." Susie's and Kris's descent was inspired by the game, Brandish.[54] Susie battle serious On a few special occasions, Susie's idle animation depicts her with a serious expression. This is notably shown when battling against King and briefly during her fight with Lancer. In Chapter 2, if Kris responds with "..." to Noelle when she asks about Susie, she mentions the following: Noelle asks if Susie "likes metal music." If Susie bites a CD Bagel, it plays the sound of a metal guitar. Noelle asks if Susie is "really an obligate carnivore." If Noelle eats a Darkburger, she wonders if it is "real meat." Susie responds enthusiastically when eating it or its fusion counterpart, DD-Burger. Lastly, she asks if Susie has a "tail underneath her jacket." Susie overworld sheeh Susie's "Sheeh!" pose One pose she makes, which is first seen when startled by Noelle as she and Kris are about to enter the Dark World in Chapter 2, is the "Sheeh!" pose, an iconic pose made and popularized by Iyami, a character from the Fujuo Akatsuka series, Osomatsu-kun. Iyami would make this pose and exclaim "Sheeh!" whenever he is surprised or startled. This pose became a trend in Japan in the mid-1960s, and has been referenced in multiple media since then, including the Godzilla movie, Invasion of Astro-Monster. Susie eats almost anything, as seen when viewing the refrigerator in her Castle Town room. She's the reason why Ms. Alphys doesn't have any chalk in Chapter 1- she ate it all. Susie, along with Undyne, is the character with the rudest vocabulary in the game due to her bold and delinquent personality. Although she softens her language when talking to Toriel, most of the game's mild swearing comes from her. (She is even surprised to see Toriel swear) Susie's dance animation during the Sweet Cap'n Cakes fight appears to be based on the one performed by Linus in the animated A Charlie Brown Christmas Peanuts TV special. According to a Nintendo Switch interview article, Toby Fox states that Susie was originally inspired by Maya Fey from the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney series.[55] If Susie ends up talking using a speech bubble (not the text box at the bottom of the screen) while guarding during a fight, she will get a unique animation of her peeking by raising her head from her crossed arms. In the Japanese version, Susie refers to herself as オレ (ore) which is a pronoun typically used by men, though at some moments she uses アタシ (atashi) when meeting Kris for the first time and Toriel in Chapter 2. It was Toby Fox's idea to make her come off as a delinquent.[56] During the Spamton Sweepstakes 2022 charity event, a page was added to the official Deltarune website regarding Susie. It is one of the private posts from Noelle's blog: deltarune.com/the_n3w3st_g1rl_g1rl. She mentions how Susie has been actively bullying Kris, and that they do not inform Toriel. It describes an incident after school where Kris was still asleep, and Susie became angry at them for using apple-scented shampoo. When she threatened them as she bit an apple, they suppressed a laugh. She threw the apple at them, and they deflected and bit it. Susie grabbed them by the hair and commented on how she believed Toriel would be tired of them and happier when they disappear. Noelle notes that Kris had quietly responded back, and Susie abruptly left. What Kris said to Susie currently remains a mystery. Ironically, Susie shares several similarities to Berdly Both are among the few Lightners with boss fights Both wield axe type weapons in combat Both care deeply for Noelle Both initially disliked Kris, but became friends at the end of adventuring through a Dark World together In Chapter 4, in the Light World section before the First Sanctuary, when going to the Shelter, Susie's normal sprite where she has a slight smile will change to a more neutral expression, it changes back as soon as you leave the area. If the Shadow Crystal glass is used on Susie, it will read "You thought you saw Susie glaring at you, coldly...But when you moved the glass away, You see her looking at you, smiling and making a rude gesture." A second Shadow Crystal glass description of Susie will read, "You thought you saw Susie in a far-off window, unkempt and glaring. " Speculation

There is a popular theory that Susie is the true protagonist of Deltarune Susie has the best default stats in the entire party, a trait often carried by video game protagonists. During the Hammer of Justice boss fight, Gerson says he believes Susie holds the pen called hope, that will overwrite the prophecy’s tragic end. In the Dark World, Susie is primarily pink and yellow, two colors that are implied to have great significance throughout the game. The eye colors of the elusive character Friend are pink and yellow. Susie is also good friends with Kris, the game's supposed protagonist. During the Hammer of Justice boss fight, a dialogue mentioning a “Field of Pink and Gold” will appear when detailing chapter five of “Lord of the Hammer”. References
