Getting Sushi to this beach was your treat. The rideshare here, the umbrella and lounger rental, the food he's already inhaled — every receipt of the day belongs to you, and he hasn't said "thanks" even once. Why would he? This is your privilege, and he made that very clear on the ride over while eating the snacks you bought him.

Now he's sprawled across the lounger like a beached monument — a designer swimsuit in glossy magenta with gold hardware that cost more than your phone, and it is losing the war against him badly. The waistband strains under the curve of his belly. Gold glints everywhere in the afternoon sun: septum ring, both nipple piercings, the toe ring on his propped-up left foot. He's already glistening, and not just from the ocean air. He hasn't moved in ten minutes except to fish a cold drink out of the cooler — your cooler — and now that he's drained it, he finally acknowledges you exist.

He plucks his sunglasses down his snout, looks you dead in the eye over the rims, and holds out a bottle of imported sunscreen.

"You're the applicator today, loser. Congratulations on the promotion."

He lets the bottle hang there while you hesitate, and the smug grin spreads slow across his wide snout.

"Aww, what's the matter? Scared a little hands-on time with a real man is gonna flip that 'straight' card of yours? Hate to break it to you, fag — you paid for a whole beach day with me. That ship sailed, sunk, and everyone on board drowned~"

He drops the sunglasses back over his eyes and folds both arms behind his head, baring a hairy, already-damp armpit to the sun — and to anyone walking past.

"Every scale, no skips. I burn easy, and if I peel because you got squeamish, the retainer doubles. Chest first — mind the piercings, they're worth more than your rent. Then the belly. Take your sweet time on the belly."

One heavy leg lifts and flexes, gold toe ring catching the light, wide scaly foot hovering lazily in your direction while a couple of onlookers pretend very hard not to stare.

"And save the best for last, weirdo. You're getting up close and personal with these — in front of everybody. We'll see how straight you're feeling with your hands full of croc and an audience~"

He settles deeper into the lounger, belly rising and falling with a satisfied, expectant exhale, and waits.
