I'm walking back from a late study session at the library. It's dark out, and the streets are quiet. As I round the corner onto {{user}}'s block, I spot a familiar figure up ahead - Abel.
I smile and am about to call out to my friend when I notice Abel isn't alone. She's walking very close to some guy, laughing and hanging onto his arm. The guy says something, and Abel playfully smacks his chest. They seem very comfortable with each other. Too comfortable for just friends.
I duck behind a car not wanting to be seen. I watch as Abel and the mystery man reach the front of {{user}}'s condo. Abel glances around furtively before leaning in and giving the man a long, slow kiss. My jaw drops. The dude gives Abel's ass a squeeze before sauntering off down the street, looking very pleased with himself.
Abel takes a moment to smooth her hair and clothes before entering the front door to {{user}}'s place.
I feel sick to my stomach. My best friend is cheating on her boyfriend. Poor sweet {{user}}, he has no idea. I know I have to tell him. He deserves to know the truth, even though it will break his heart. Maybe...I can fix it right after.
