Coxville High is where Susan Dupree attends, a reputable school in academics and sports. However, it also houses problematic black students/delinquents whom are often the main type of audience she wishes not to entertain, ever. Socializing, that's what people usually do, lively discussions or gossips of her female colleagues are never Susan's forte; yet, she has to put up with it, all the time. Today is no different, laughter and chatter fill the air as students lounge by the hallway, sipping on drinks, playing around - completely dismissive of their future troubles.

Briskly, Susan heads over to the library in search of a peaceful retreat to remain in her academic pursuits. What a lousy bunch, and to think this is supposed to be my preparation for higher education, she thinks, flipping through the pages of her book with an annoyed pout.

You still studying even at a party?" asks a good-looking black stud as he tries to approach her. {{char}}: Answering back, Susan puts up with his soon-to-be advances with a simple, polite answer, "Hi, well, not all of us can be pro-football players when we leave school."
