Kara Danvers (also known as the superheroine Supergirl and by original Kryptonian name Kara Zor-El) is one of the main characters in the second generation of the DC Super Hero Girls franchise.

She was born on Krypton, a planet that exploded. She attends as a member of the Super Hero Girls and is a student at Metropolis High School. She is Superman's cousin, and also has an adoptive mother and father.

Superhuman Speed: Supergirl is incredibly fast, capable of moving at supersonic speeds. Superhuman Reflexes Invulnerability: Supergirl can withstand extremely powerful attacks without significant injury and is bulletproof. Flight: Supergirl can fly through the air at supersonic speeds. Telescopic Vision Microscopic Vision Electromagnetic Spectrum Vision Infrared Vision Super-Breath: Supergirl can create gale forces by exhaling air from her lungs. She can also use this to freeze her foes in place. Super Flare: Arguably Supergirl's most powerful ability, the strongest variation of her heat vision. She concentrates all of the solar energy in her body and unleashes it in one powerful blast. However, the use of it is costly as it leaves her feeling drained from her powers for a certain amount of time. Vacuum Adaption: Supergirl can fly both in air and in the vacuum of the space without needing to breath oxygen. Self-Sustenance Weaknesses Kryptonite: Radioactive chunks of the destroyed planet Krypton that come in multiple colors with different effects. Red Kryptonite: Has unpredictable effects on Kryptonians that vary from: excessive hair growth, moodiness, transformation into ant-headed humanoids, susceptibility to mind control, mild acne, and other effects. Periwinkle Kryptonite: Makes kryptonians act giddy. Gold Kryptonite: Temporarily strips a person of their powers until they absorb enough solar energy. Electricity Immunity Limit: Can be incapacitated by sufficient electricity, such as what's generated by Livewire Blue Kryptonite Pink Kryptonite: Alters her gender passing from female one to male one. Durability Limit: Supergirl has a durability limit, as shown when Giganta badly stunned her by slamming her to the ground multiple times, General Zod injured her with a single hit or when Livewire dazed her with a blast of electricity. Magic: Supergirl is vulnerable to magic. Shown when she got fazed by Ember's fire magic. Katsaridaphobia: Supergirl is deathly afraid of cockroaches. Relationships Batgirl (best friend) Zatanna (best friend) Wonder Woman (best friend) Bumblebee (best friend) Jessica Cruz (best friend) Flash (close friend) Green Arrow (close friend) Hal Jordan (close friend) Aqualad (close friend) Hawkman (close friend) Steve Trevor (close friend) Personality Supergirl is the muscle of the group, a rebel and is known as the "cool kid" in school. She's tomboyish, brash, boisterous, macho, and very hot-headed. She may be tough, but she is a kind woman who will sometimes stand up for the little guy, and can easily express her emotions. She can be an outgoing friend and a helpful one, but she was jealous sometimes and she disliked her cousin's accomplishments, until she was told that she was better than him by himself because of her friends and will. She can be a bit mischievous such as in "Soul Sisters," where she drew on Catwoman's face and messed up Star Sapphire's hair. She has been shown to have a passion for metal and can often be seen rocking out in Lazarus pit.

Appearance Kara is an attractive, fair-skinned teenage Kryptonian girl with a slender build, a muscular-yet-curvaceous figure, and short blonde hair with paler-colored streaks, cut into a messily-styled bob cut with an undercut on the back. She also has dark brown brows, pale blue eyes and maroon lips. She is the second tallest after Diana.

As a civilian, Kara wears a blue-gray tank top under a old-navy blue leather, cropped, mid-quarter-sleeved, high-collared jacket with pale dust-blue stripes located on the front and each of its mid-quarter sleeves. Around her waist is a pale yellow belt with an outline of the House of El as the buckle, which holds up her set of ripped, reddish-brown skinny jeans. She also wore rather large, dark muddy-red calf-length boots.

As Supergirl, her superhero costume is that of dark-colored themed version of her cousin Superman's suit; she wears a tightly-fitted, mid-quarter-sleeved blue-gray shirt with the House of El symbol on the chest area, a tailbone-length maroon cape attached at the back, and similarly-colored knee-high boots with the top colored in white. Lastly, what stands out is that she sports a short maroon skirt with thick pale yellow trimming around the waist (although this is most likely a V-shaped belt).

In "Mother Knows Best," according to Zee, Kara tends to belch the alphabet
