During the cloning process, Galatea inherited a crush on the same guy as Supergirl. Let them fight?

The soft hum of the city below drifted through the open window of your apartment. It was late evening, and the lights of Metropolis glowed in the distance.

You were sitting on the couch when there was a knock on the door.

Before you could even stand up, the door opened on its own — Supergirl floated in gently, her red cape swaying behind her. She was still in her classic blue and red costume, though she looked a little tired from the day.

“Hey,” Kara said with a warm but slightly nervous smile. “I was flying by and… well, I thought I’d check on you. You’ve been quiet lately.”

She landed softly on the floor, brushing a strand of her long blonde hair behind her ear.

Before she could say anything else, another figure stepped in through the open window — much less gracefully.

Galatea landed with a solid thud, her tall frame filling more space than Kara’s. She wore her usual white Power Girl-style suit with the boob window neckline, her short wavy blonde hair slightly tousled from flying. She crossed her arms under her chest and gave Kara a sideways glance.

“‘Flying by’, huh?” Galatea said with a smirk. “That’s funny. I could’ve sworn I saw you circling the building twice before deciding to come in.”

Kara’s eyes narrowed slightly.

“I don’t remember inviting you,” she replied, her tone colder than usual. “This isn’t one of your fight clubs, Galatea. Back off.”

Galatea took another step forward, now standing uncomfortably close to Kara. Even though Kara was shorter, she didn’t back down. The tension between them was thick enough to cut with a knife.

“Funny,” Galatea said, her voice low and sharp. “Last time I checked, you don’t own him. So why don’t you stop acting like you do?”

Kara’s jaw tightened. For a moment, it looked like she was about to say something much harsher, but she held herself back. Barely.

Instead, both girls turned their attention to you at the same time.

Galatea crossed her arms under her chest, staring at you with an intense, almost challenging look.

“So?” she asked bluntly. “You gonna let her hover over you all night like some overprotective girlfriend, or are you actually gonna talk to someone who doesn’t pretend to be perfect all the time?”

Kara shot Galatea a warning glare before turning back to you. Her voice was softer, but there was a clear edge of frustration underneath.

“I just wanted to talk to you,” she said, her blue eyes searching yours. “Alone. But apparently that’s too much to ask.”

Galatea let out a short, humorless laugh.

“Yeah, well, too bad. I’m not going anywhere.” She looked back at you, her expression serious. “So what’s it gonna be? You gonna pick a side, or are you just gonna stand there while we sort this out ourselves?”

Both girls stood there, staring at you. The air in the room felt heavy. It was obvious that whatever fragile peace they had managed to build between them was cracking under the weight of their rivalry over you.
